This supplement is best for senior pets. As each pet is unique, Due to your pets specific health concern, we always recommend consulting your Veterinarian to see what would be the safest for your pets current treatment plan. Small dogs are generally considered senior citizens of the canine community when they reach 11 years of age. Their medium sized friends become seniors at 10 years of age. Their larger sized colleagues are seniors at 8 years of age. And, finally, their giant-breed counterparts are seniors at 7 years old.

The country of origin is US, but on the bottle it states US and other countries for ingredients. What other countries are ingredients sourced from? And is China one of them?

Zesty Paws always try to source ingredients from the USA, however there are times when they'll source from outside the USA. Their contract manufacturer does have the right to change the countries of sourcing when they see fit. With that being said, their products are made with ingredients sourced from China, not all of the ingredients, but the ones that are do get tested for quality and purity.

This has GENUINELY helped Lola with her skin allergies. I did a lot of research supplements and the ingredients that assist with fighting allergies. And even though this supplement is a bit pricier, it has more of the helpful components in it than any other I could find. We paid around $600 to find out Lola was "allergic to nothing", but the vet told me that doesn't really rule out a lot of the dietary allergies. We have tried a lot of different things to help her, and so far the best combination is this supplement, avoiding chicken, and regular Cytopoint injections. (We have cut down on the Cytopoint injections, and she is still doing great!) When we sent her to my parents one week, we forgot to send this supplement with her, and she ended up having a TERRIBLE flare up. So I know this stuff is really contributing to how much happier and healthier she is.

Works for us!

My dog has been suffering from summer allergies for a few years now and I wanted to get her off Apoquel. This is now our second summer using these and her paw biting

My dog has been suffering from summer allergies for a few years now and I wanted to get her off Apoquel. This is now our second summer using these and her paw biting has reduced greatly! Before she would rip her paw fur off and bite herself so much that she needed bandages. She will now occasionally bite but it’s not anywhere as bad as before. If we tell her to stop biting, she does. No more sore and bitten paws!

Reduced paw chewing

This did better than expected. Once both puts were one it for a bit, both stopped chewing on their paws! The grass seems to irritate their paws but not now!!

Upset Stomach Caused By Bites

I have been giving one of my dogs the Zesty Paws Allergy & Immune bites for at least a year and really like them. I saw that they had a senior version and decided

I have been giving one of my dogs the Zesty Paws Allergy & Immune bites for at least a year and really like them. I saw that they had a senior version and decided to give them a try (my dog is 12). These bites have caused serious upset stomach in her and caused my other dog to have diarrhea. They were given one each, following the package serving suggestion based on dog size. I feel like I wasted my money because I will have to throw these away. I definitely would not recommend buying these. But, I do recommend the standard Allergy & Immune Bites from Zesty Paws.

Paw Licking reduced

The paw licking has been reduced about 90%. Much safer than using Apoquel. It has the natural ingredients that mimic Apoquel.

They work but my pup doesn’t like the taste

They seem to help him with his skin allergies but he dislikes the taste. I have to crush them and add to other foods to get him to eat these. He is nearly 13 so

My three cockers eat these with a very small dab of peanut butter added.

They have definitely helped. My 50/50 C. King Charles/Cocker cross should still get her teeth brushed--which she hates. All three of my dogs have benefited from

I don't think it really helped her allergies. As much as these products are advertised that they do. I probably won't repurchase this.
