About This Item

Details

  • These chews feature a bacteria that supports gut health, immune system function, and gut flora for any small or large furbaby.
  • An ancient grain base and functional ingredients help deter stool eating and provide gut, periodontal, and immune support.
  • An advanced, controlled-release form of capsicum extract gives poop a more unpleasant taste for dogs.
  • The chews also support healthy gums while keeping your furry friend’s teeth healthy and clean.
  • If your dog eats stool from their doggie friends, giving these soft chews to other dogs may help to stop your coprophagic pup from consuming their poop.

I've heard from friends that this worked really well for them but I'm starting to think nothing could stop my puppy from eating her poop. Even with all of the dogs in the house taking this she still would stop mid poop, eat what she just pooped, and then keep pooping. I think the real source of the issue was that she needed a half cup lunch in the middle of the day- that seemed to cut down on a top of the poop eating.

Zesty Paws is a quality brand with quality products however this one just didn't quite work for our pups. One of our dogs unfortunately likes to eat poop and we hoped these would deter him from satiating himself in the backyard and although he eagerly ate the supplements and loved the taste, he continued to try and eat our other dogs poop nonetheless. It might work for others but maybe not all.

Don't waste your money

My youngest lab started eating my other lab's poop after taking antibiotics. I tried probiotics for her and they didn't help. Got these and fed them to both dogs. He is taking the maximum dose. Now after he goes out, she barks and carries on until we let her out to find his poop. These made it so much worse. I tried these for months as they were on my auto ship. Biggest waste of money. Don't bother.

This surprisingly works for both of my dogs....most of the time. It didn't work at first because they were still eating their poop and then they stopped eating their regular dog food. The trick is to not feed it to them too close to feeding time and definitely don't give it to them with their meals. Something about the smell reminded them of their poop. Once we started feeding it to them about 10ish minutes after mealtime, it started to work. They eat their poop on occasion if we accidentally sleep in on the weekends but other than that, it seems to work great! I recommend you at least try it!

Doesn't work

We've tried the daily amount and she's still trying to eat her poop. Bought this one because of her age. Will be switching as soon as she meets age requirements

Did not work with my dog.

I still catching him going after his own poo. Pick it up quickly so he does not eat it. this doesn't seem to help much.
