Is this compatible with UBV bulbs?

The box shows a clamp, but the pictures do not, does the item come with a clamp and does it take the mini hydrogen bulbs?

A mounting spring clip is included. This fixture can accommodate incandescent, fluorescent and heat-emitting bulbs.

Will placing this lamp being directly on top of the lid cause heating/melting damage ? I recently placed our current lamp directly on top of the lid, and it melted part of the screening/sides of the lid.

Depending on the wattage of the bulb, it may burn the pets habitat. UV wavelengths are filtered by glass and plastic, so it is important that the bulb has direct exposure to the reptile’s habitat.

This lamp is missing some features that most others have. No way to hang the lamp is one, but you can mostly tell that from photos. However, this thing is super cheaply made. When I went to unscrew the bulb for the first time, the bulb did not unscrew. Rather, the bulb socket piece unscrewed from the rest of the lamp fixture. You can screw it back in, but since it exposes some wiring and other pieces, it makes me nervous to use with a basking bulb since they get so hot. Doesn’t feel super safe.

Wrong wattage

The description for the 8.5 inch one says it’s for use up to 150 watts but the box says 60. It’s even there in one of the images of the box.
