Feed your cat farm to bowl nutrition with Ziwi Peak Air-Dried Beef Recipe Cat Food. Simple and pure, just like the Ziwi love for cats, this recipe gives your pal the best of New Zealand. Using a gentle twin-stage air-drying process, they naturally preserve all the ingredients, which also eliminates pathogenic bacteria. And because there’s no need for preservatives, sugars and glycerines, the food is safe, clean and easy to handle. In fact, it’s just as nutritious and digestible as a completely raw diet, in the convenient form of air dried.

Key Benefits
  • 100% single-sourced beef is free-range and grass-fed on ethical and sustainable New Zealand farms; free of antibiotics, growth promotants and added hormones.

  • Includes 96% fresh meat, organs, bones and New Zealand green mussels—a natural source of chondroitin and glucosamine, which supports joint health.
  • 95% digestible, high-protein and high-kilocalorie diet packs more power than raw food or kibble so you can feed smaller quantities per day.
  • Complete and balanced, limited-ingredient formula never include grains, corn, soy, potatoes, wheat, rice, fillers, sugars, glycerins, rendered meals or preservatives.

Feed Ziwi Peak to your pet on a daily basis using the ration guide above.

Kittens and pregnant or nursing females: Feed approximately double the amount indicated, in 2 - 3 feedings per day. For your pet's health and well - being they should always have access to fresh, clean water.

Transition Instructions

Sudden changes in diet, including overfeeding, can sometimes result in digestive issues. Always introduce any new food by slowly mixing with your current diet for the first 6-8 days, increasing the amount of Ziwi Peak while decreasing the amount of the other brand.

If I give my pet a Ziwi Peak treat, how much food should I feed?

There is a lot of goodness in every Ziwi Peak treat, so we recommend you modify the amount of Ziwi Peak food at feeding time. Your pet won’t need as much if he or she has had treats, so reduce accordingly. Much as pets love them, Ziwi Peak treats don’t make a complete daily diet. Use them as a premium real-meat treat to occasionally reward your dog or cat’s good behavior.

    Not sure why?

By Betsy on Jul 27, 2020

Not sure why my cats didn’t like it?! One ate it couple of times but wasn’t his favorite. The other has been funny and picky eater. Which is but but this suppose to be top notch stuff! They were originally wild turn house cats. I will have to give to humane society! I wish it worked!! Not sure if I can get money back?!

Was a bust with my kitty.

By Kanwaldeep on Jun 30, 2020

I tried it with my kitty just as suggested and she ate a little of it only to throw it up a few hours later. So it's no good for my kitty. I fed it to the ferals and even they avoided it. Well all except for one. Thankfully it's all done and I am still on a quest to find food she will love to eat and hold down.

    Cats love it, But

By dogfish on Jun 14, 2020 Top 1000 Contributor

The cats love it. It meets all the allergy issues of 1 cat. Mr Allergic is actually able to eat this food. My cats love Beef. But it is very pricey . Also very fattening. My cats definitely don’t need any more fat, they are plump enough. I was actually trying to find a low fat food that they could eat due to allergies. So I will keep looking.

    Grace loves it

By Beth on Apr 15, 2020

My girl, Grace, is the most finicky eater I've ever had and she is incredibly enthusiastic about this Ziwi Beef Recipe Air Dried cat food. If you have a really picky cat in your family, I suggest you give this a try.

    Crushed Bags

    By catmommy1 on Jan 18, 2020

I purchased this item only to receive the bag crushed completely! I did manage to feed my cats the crumbs that were in the bag which they seemed to like. I can't believe Chewy would allow the items that I purchased to be packaged like this and sent out! The outer box was not destroyed, so I know this left the facility like this.

Ziwi Peak cat and dog food

    By sshalimar16 on Feb 20, 2020

I love this product, our dog is on 100% raw diet and Ziwi makes for a quick meal away from home as well as healthy treats during the training classes we've had Annie in.

Another failed attempt at getting my cats to eat goodness

By MilaPatCat on Oct 11, 2019

So this covers both this and the venison formula. Both smell fantastic. (Why is this cat food!? Lol!) They are about the size of large confetti pieces. They smell like fresh jerky that a human could eat. Unfortunately, NONE of my cats will even attempt licking, let alone EATING either version. I tried mixing it into their current food, I tried adding it as a topping to their wet food. I even attempted using individual pieces as "treats". Nothing worked. The only things eating the stuff so far is the local wildlife and strays.

My cat Autumn took to this food immediately. It's also a comfort, knowing she's getting the best food for her health.
