The ingredients seemed great for dogs with allergies and sensitivities, and they were easy to use, but maybe not with larger pills or capsules. My dog sometimes ended up just eating the Pill Pop and spitting out the pill, so I went back to wrapping them in lunch meat (which isn't ideal, but my dog just swallows lunch meat without chewing so she never spit out the pill when I used meat). There weren't many in the bag and since my Golden was taking 7 pills a day we went thru them super quickly. Since they contain sugar, I don't think they're good to use long term, but that's a question for a veterinarian. They weren't 100% effective either, so I probably won't buy them again, but other dog ownersThe ingredients seemed great for dogs with allergies and sensitivities, and they were easy to use, but maybe not with larger pills or capsules. Didn't work at all
on Sep 20, 2021
My dog has to take several medications and he was getting tired of our usual ways so I ordered a couple of different products to give him some options. These don't work at all. They are too hard and when you go to press the pill into the center it either breaks the pill or the who treat falls apart rendering it useless. I only gave it 2 stars because he does like the flavor. There needs to be a pocket cut into this or something.
work okay, but

I use these to mask a pill the size of my index nail so pretty big overall. The pops come two to a sealed package, but I divide it in half then half again. Thus, I get use of four pills out of one individual package. Otherwise, the pop is too big for my dog to digest. These pops are not hollow and are easily moldable to form a casing around the pill. So yes, you get your hands dirty when using this product. The smell goes away after washing your hands. Fortunately, this is a short term supplement I am giving my dog and I found this to be the best product to use.
Don’t waste your money!

These are disgusting! They smell horrible and have a strange texture; you have to do A LOT of work to get these smashed around a pill capsule and after all of that work and the smell (gagging) my dog who NEVER turns down a treat refused to eat it. We’ve tried four separate times, with and without the medication and it’s a definite “NO”. You end up having to dig the capsules out and do it the hard way; these were a waste of money!
Great concept, poor execution

My dog takes several pills twice per day, and Chewy just discontinued her favorite hickory pill pockets, so we tried these. They are wrapped in sets of two, which should result in a soft, moist treat. Instead, they are dry and kind of hard. Great concept, poor execution.
Grain free pill pockets

These are great for giving pills, I was surprised, however when they are 2 per individual pack..kinda nice that they stay moist that way but also alot of extra wrappers that may not be necessary.
Best pill pocket!

My 65 pound lab loves the flavor! Plus all the pops are individually wrapped ( I’ve had problems with other pill pockets in the past with mildew in the whole bag before I finish them not a problem with the way this packaging is designed )and I can give four pills with one pop! So I can give 80 pills out of one bag Of 20 pops
ok but not great

I’m sure they taste fine but they’re very dense and it’s difficult to wrap around or squish a pill in. My dogs won’t eat it unless it’s mixed with a Pill Pocket. They smell good. Very sweet. But they just won’t eat them.
They are chicken free which is great for dogs with chicken allergies but it defeats the purpose if they won’t take it from me.
Work as designed

They work as designed. You can mash them and mold them around the pill. I tried several different things to get my dog to take his meds. This one worked. If it crumbled, you mush it back together. It is not complicated.
Yes, they are individually wrapped in plastic in a plastic bag, but how else will they stay fresh? I only use 2 a month. So 20 will almost last a year. So I like the double plastic wrapping.
The best part is that they are animal Protein free. He only eats Salmon and we avoid Beef and Chicken. So this is perfect. I would recommend it.

Neither of my cats would even try it. We tried the other Zoe pill pocket flavor Beef with Ginger and they didn't like that one either.
