After it's opened, can I transfer the snails to a different container and freeze them? My skink wouldn't eat more than 4 or 5 a week so I don't want to waste an almost full can

The snails can be frozen if they are not going to feed be fed right away.

Is this stored on-shelf or in a refrigerator?

After opening, this should be stored in the refrigerator.

When does it expire

We do not post expiration dates for any product since they are subject to change. This food can be kept for about one week in the refrigerator and should be discarded if is begins to have a foul odor or visible mold growing.

Can’O’Snails

I bought these for my cuban false chameleon. He had 0 interest in them. He wouldn’t even lick it. I may purchase again for my box turtle as i am exploring different foods to feed him but this was a no go for my cuban false chameleon unfortunately.
