I was on vacation for 9 days, and upon returning the morning of the 9th day, I found this fish vacation food hardly desolved! I was testing 2 brands, and the other Tetra brand, that I picked up at a local pet store, didn't desolve either! My loach died a couple of days later. Fortunately, my other fish didn't starve to death. I do not recommend it. I have better lunch with the Aqueon Tropical Freshwater Fish Food Feeder that Chewy sells.
I bought these to see if my fish would eat them and survive and for how long. I have three fish and one crayfish in a ten-gallon aquarium and this last over a week. Now I have to test on my 55-gallon aquarium.
I purchased these in hopes to get my snails and pleco something different and some extra calcium/nutrients. It turns out all of my fish liked it. It was gone in about 3 days from all the fish and snails picked at at which is fine. I will definitely purchase again.
These blocks are wonderful!! Not only do my corys and plecos like them, my snails are crazy about them too!!
