Description

ReptiSun 10.0 is perfect for all desert and basking reptiles! 10% UVB Output, 30% UVA Output, full spectrum bulb. The new ReptiSun Compact Fluorescent lamps use a special UVB transmitting quartz glass for maximum UVB penetration. Cool burning compact fluorescent bulbs screw into standard threaded sockets, eliminating the need for a separate ballast. Lamp can be oriented either vertically or horizontally in your reptile hood or clamp lamp fixture. UVB emissions help prevent or reverse metabolic bone disease and UVA increases feeding, mating, and other natural behaviors.

Key Benefits
  • Perfect for all desert and basking reptiles proper lighting can help your pet live a long, healthy life

Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Reptile Lamp

By Zahra on Jan 7, 2021

I was informed by my turtle care group that I had improper lifting and this bulb was my best bet. Ordering the product was a breeze and when it arrived my turtle instantly began using the light. She now basks more than she did with her old light. I’m glad that this product is safe and gives my turtle her essential UVB intake.

By Xavier on Mar 29, 2021

The name of the product is "Reptile Lamp" yet there is no lamp, just the bulb.

    Right wattage

By Stephanie on Dec 18, 2020

I looked forever and could only find the 13 watt bulbs which are not strong enough for red eared slider turtles. Thank goodness for Chewy! I now have them on auto-ship so I will always have the correct bulb.

    My favorite UVB bulb!

By Chrissy on Dec 24, 2019

If you're looking for a wonderful, long lasting UVB bulb for your reptile, look no further than the Reptisun Compact Lamp! It is expensive, but the good side is a UVB bulb is supposed to last you about six months. I've had mine for three months now and it's still going strong! You need to change it after six months because even though it keeps working, it will stop giving off UVB rays. Overall, I love and highly recommend this bulb!

Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Reptile Lamp

By Snake on Mar 7, 2019

I started using this fluorescent bulb just 2 months ago and it has already burned out. I went with this bulb in particular over a similar incandescent bulb due to its supposed much longer life even though it was also more expensive. Normally fluorescent bulbs ARE much longer lasting so don't know what happened to this one. BTW....I did screw it into another working lamp with the same results so it's definitely the bulb that's faulty. Hoping Chewy will send me a replacement.
