This bulb works perfect for my bearded dragon tank! I now have UVB hitting most of my 40 gallon tank, just like I wanted. The light seems much more powerful. This was the most recommended light fixture for my bearded dragon! I was confused with the correct bulb size, but I got it now! Everyone forgets you have to turn the light bulb 90 degrees in order for it to not cause issues!
Good enough
This hood comes with a bulb but sadly mine doesn’t work. Luckily I bought a second bulb just in case and it worked and the hood itself is great.

The fixture is in good condition but the bulb that came with it is not working it doesn’t turn on I tried everything already

Package came in good, working condition, it was fairly easy to tell which product I needed and which bulbs I needed to order with it, was a little confused at first but going into the questions section helped.
Good, but need DIY to hang
I’ve had zero issues with this fixture so far. It’s plugged into a light timer and goes on and off with no issues. I use it with the Reptisun 10.0 T5 24w bulb (not the bulb it comes with) and works good. I do wish it had a spot on top so it can be hung, though. It does not have anything attached to it to be able to hang it, so you’ll have to DIY something if needed. I DIY’d a small size jack chain on both ends and holds it pretty well.

I bought this and a 10 bulb. The 5.0 bulb that comes with it didn’t work but the 10.0 worked and still works great. I called Chewy and told them about the bulb and they sent me a brand new hood that works perfectly. I didn’t have to return the other hood either. They took care of it quickly and now I have two hoods.

I bought this for my new rescue. a good bearded dragon. After much research i decided on this brand for his home. It was working great, very easy to replace the bulb it came with ( comes with a 5 i needed a 10) but then after three days it won’t turn on??? I checked to make sure the light bulb didn’t die prematurely but even the 5 it came with wont light up. Heading out to see if i can find something at the local pet store cuz Rocky can’t go all day without us uvb. The hood was packaged well and there are no dents that would indicate any type of damage it just went kaput. Maybe i just got a lemon idk i guess it happens.

I highly 100% recommend this light fixture for your bearded dragon enclosure!! Chewy packed it great and it arrived quicker than the date shown and the fixture itself is working properly! Also, if you are needing to install on the inside of your enclosure the only place I found the mounting brackets were on the actual ZooMed website!! ❤️

Doesn’t stay on
I was recommended to get this light for my bearded dragon. It’s great when it works. It shuts off continuously and you have to wiggle it around for it to turn back on just for it to shut off again. For the price I expected better. Trying to find something new to replace it with that’s more dependable. Kinda disappointed.
