is this really dusty?

This substrate has an ultra-fine texture, which helps prevent against impaction from over consumption. If used within a very dry habitat, it will seem more dusty than when used within a humid habitat.

Is this substrate safe for Juvenile Bearded Dragons? My Bearded Dragon is about 2 months old, would this cause impaction in small bearded dragons?

This product should be taken off the market. It stained my dragons scales, filled their nostrils, and made them impacted. I’m convinced they would have died from this substrate had I left it in their enclosure. Worst product ever! The company should be ashamed for selling this.

The color is a little silly

My lizard is a digger, so ive gotta get him lots of sand and dirt to dig in, i bought this to accent his tank and make it a bit more aesthetic than just brown and

My lizard is a digger, so ive gotta get him lots of sand and dirt to dig in, i bought this to accent his tank and make it a bit more aesthetic than just brown and light brown, it successfully gave a pop of color, but the bright orange looks really silly in the bag.

I used this sand as directed for our gecko. I wish I had done more research. He loved basking in it, but it irritated and stained his skin. After seeking treatment

I used this sand as directed for our gecko. I wish I had done more research. He loved basking in it, but it irritated and stained his skin. After seeking treatment for him, it was concluded that he was also impacted from ingestion of the sand despite having food readily available at all times.

Do not use for torts

I used this substrate for my first tortoise enclosure and it would irritate her skin, not only from personal experience but from others in the reptile community,

Do not and I repeat do not use this sand it is absolutely horrible for your beardies and other lizards it does more harm than good for them cause it will cause compaction

Do not and I repeat do not use this sand it is absolutely horrible for your beardies and other lizards it does more harm than good for them cause it will cause compaction in their bowels and possibly death a lot of places tell you to stay away from vitamin or calcium fortified sands because they are horrible for your lizards
