Bird's will not eat this!
I have three parrots. None of them will eat this food. They throw it out of their cages. This doesn't mean that other birds won't eat it!!
Nutritious!
I needed to get my birds off of seed. It took some time for my macaws to recognize it as food. I prefer this over all the flavors because they won't pick and choose their favorite colors and leave the rest behind.
Weevils in unopened bags.
Two bags of unopened ZuPreem Natural that I received from Chewy had what I assume are Weevils in them. They were dark beetle type bugs that were smaller than a grain of rice. I've been buying my 37 year old African Grey Zupreem Natural for a very long time. First time there were bugs in two unopened bags. I called the ZuPreem company and left a message... with the lot number (5000196750) and expiration date (11/30/22). No one ever called me back. Perhaps this is normal, but I've never seen bugs in sealed pellet bird food until now. This is not Chewy's fault, but ZuPreem. The bugs looked to have eaten their way out of the pellets as large holes were in the pellets. Puzzling since pellets are probably baked and I would think that would kill any insects.
My bird hates it
I have a blue and gold macaw and he won't eat it at all. He will move it from his food bowl to his water bowl.
Good food but my birds won't eat it
I have a variety (Macaw, Senegal, Amazo) of tropical birds. This food isn't bad, but none of my birds will eat it. Find it on the floor. They won't tell why they won't eat it.

Zupreem is the best
I foster and apart from providing fresh food, pellets are so much more balanced than the seed diets many birds come to us eating. Other pellets may be organic or better for other reasons but ZuPreem Natural is the one birds will transition to the most easily. In general, they like this better than the fruit or nut flavors. I definitely recommend it.

My cockatoo love them and I'm happy that she is no longer eating chemicals and colors found in other bird pellets.
Poor quality
This product came to me as if the batch had been soaked in liquid. It is not the same quality of pellets I get from my local bird store. The structure of these pellets were not as compact. Darker color as it seemed they had been contaminated by some type of liquid making them darker in color and the overall structure of the pellet was more pores than I get from my local store. I will support my local store and get better quality pellets for my parrot.
