Can a parakeet/budgie eat this?

This variety would not be recommended for a small bird like a parakeet/budgie. It is best for medium size birds such as Lovebirds, Cockatiels, Quakers & Small Conures.
Can wild birds eat this?

Is this food safe to stored in a freezer, and if so, for how long?

If you won't be using the ZuPreem food right away, you certainly can freeze it. However, this does not extend the life of the food at all and it will need to be used by the date on the bag.
How to freeze it will depend on the size bag you are purchasing. The smaller bags can just be frozen on their own. For larger bags, some customers prefer to separate them into gallon or quart-sized baggies to be used a little at a time. Either works just fine, just be sure to allow them to come to room temperature before offering them to your bird. Note: If using this method, ZuPreem recommends keeping the original packaging/packaging information and a copy of your receipt for reference until the food has been fully consumed.
