Zycortal for Addison's Disease
I adopted my Yorkie rescue girl knowing she had Addison's Disease. Zycortal injections have been keeping her feeling good and looking wonderful! Each month, her vet does bloodwork to test her electrolyte levels and adjusts the dosage accordingly. Chewy's pharmacy service and pricing have been the best!
Illegal Price Gouging
Chewy is exploiting the global supply chain issues and ratcheting up the price of Percorten-V and Zycortal. This medication was $161.02 at our last auto ship on 9/3/21. Two months later they’re charging $214.69 on auto ship or $225.99 one time. This is a 25% increase (exactly, I might add) in less than months. Consumers are protected from price gouging during emergency/disaster declarations, say for example a global pandemic. Essential but price increase :/
This product is essential for my dog to survive! I prefer Percorten, but it has been out of stock and is out of stock everywhere else. This still gets the job done; however, the price shot WAY up (hence the 4 stars)! I'm not sure if there is a shortage or something, but I'm hoping it goes back down or doesn't continue to increase!
