Make leash training a walk in the park with the 2 Hounds Design Freedom No Pull Dog Harness and Leash. The patented design works by discouraging what’s known as the “opposition reflex,” which is the reflex that encourages dogs to pull against pressure caused by traditional harnesses. Instead, this leash features an action loop at the back between the shoulders, enabling your dog to walk in a straight line without twisting or straining. A structural ring on the front of the chest offers a second control point, allowing you to “steer” your dog and redirect his attention—which comes in handy when a squirrel crosses your path! Easy to fit and easy to use, it all connects with the included double connection leash.

To get the most accurate size harness for your pet, measure the girth of their chest, around the widest part of your dog's torso right behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pet's chest for comfort.

I thought this pair would work for our American Bulldog cuz she is a puller. I liked the idea of two points of contact with the leash. But, when we hook up both points to the leash, she just pulls. Also, the leash is too short for anyone who is tall-ish. I am 5 ft 7 inches and I was leaning over. Also, the leash handle part is not padded. When we switch out the leash for our 6 ft Max and Neo leash with the padded handle and only hook it up to the front connection on the halter, the halter does great! I would get the halter alone, and not buy it with the leash.
I’ve had this harness for years and my dog and I love it. A serial puller, the first time he jumped and yanked in this he spun right around. He stopped pulling in less than a week and the length of the leash has meant that he’s much less difficult to control. When we run into squirrels or other things he freaks about I find it easy to adjust where on the leash I’m holding, making it simple to continue the walk. As an added benefit the two different d rings means that securing him in the car is much easier, making him safer and giving me peace of mind. Highly recommend!
Our shepherd mix is 50 lbs, and we got the Medium. It fits perfectly but without room to adjust larger, she has a big barrel chest. However, I think the large would've been too big for her. Anyways, it seems very comfortable for her, and our walks are great! It seems VERY SECURE and that's our number one priority.
I’ve had my dog for two years and no matter what I’ve tried I have not been able to successfully walk her. We just got these delivered yesterday and I am 100% hooked. First time out and we had our first walk. I’m split because we just got this yesterday and it already is coming apart. So I love the product because it works, but for the price point I would expect it to last more than one walk.
A friend bought this harness for her dog who is very hard to control on walks. I walked him and found the leash to work fantastically. Bought one for my own dog. Love the double leash and the attachment points as it puts pressure on the right spots without hurting the dog's neck.
I have two rescued 60 lb German Shephard mix dogs. They pull like freight trains, and react to everything. I'm fit, but 70, and I don't want to be pulled around especially as the New England winter is fast approaching. This harness/leash is the miracle I have been seeking. I've tried multiple "no pull" harnesses, leashes, halter leaders - you name it. This is the first system that worked! I just came in from the best walk I have ever had with these two overgrown toddlers. I couldn't be happier!
Accidentally forgot this harness on my dog the first day. After an hour in his crate he had already chewed straight through it making it completely unusable. They offer a chew policy but charge you $12 for a new one plus you have to pay for return shipping. Not a bad deal but I literally did not even get one use out of it.
This is the best harness and leash, hands down, for my puller. With training and this leash, we are unstoppable. I will never use another harness and leash. Highly recommend.
I really like this harness since it's made to tighten around his chest to signal to stop pulling. Also, I like that I can just use it as a single hook harness if I want to. We still have some training to do. He doesn't do well with the double hook leash and tends to get tangled in it while he crosses from one of my sides to the other. Once he has more training, this shouldn't be an issue.
This leash/harness combo does reduce pulling, but not entirely. Our dog is an energetic 8 month old puppy, medium bordering on large. This allows for re-direction but sometimes our pup just doesn't care about the pressure on his chest from pulling because he's stubborn and will do it anyway.
