Make leash training a walk in the park with the 2 Hounds Design Freedom No Pull Dog Harness and Leash. The patented design works by discouraging what’s known as the “opposition reflex,” which is the reflex that encourages dogs to pull against pressure caused by traditional harnesses. Instead, this leash features an action loop at the back between the shoulders, enabling your dog to walk in a straight line without twisting or straining. A structural ring on the front of the chest offers a second control point, allowing you to “steer” your dog and redirect his attention—which comes in handy when a squirrel crosses your path! Easy to fit and easy to use, it all connects with the included double connection leash.
Included double connection training leash provides two points of contact with your dog, allowing you to steer your dog from the front connection.
Patented design reduces twisting, straining, and pulling, providing a more enjoyable experience for you and your dog.
Improves communication and training while out for a walk, and helps to redirect your dog’s attention.
Stainless steel hardware and heavy-duty nylon with Swiss velvet lining behind front legs to prevent rubbing and chafing. Good for dogs of all weights.
Made in the USA with four points of adjustability to fit any dog body shape or type.
To get the most accurate size harness for your pet, measure the girth of their chest, around the widest part of your dog's torso right behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pet's chest for comfort.
I purchased this harness after 2 previous leashes didn't do the trick. I'm raising a Guide Dog puppy who is a 6-month-old lab with boundless energy and strength. Because part of the training includes frequent walks and public outings, I had to find something that worked to keep him from pulling and lunging. Wow. What a difference! The walks are so much more enjoyable and he's able to release his energy in a healthy way. He will still occasionally jump up when people are nearby, but part of that is his (my) lack of training (I've only had him for one month).
It's pretty easy to put the harness on (the 1st time I just looked at the picture on the box to make sure I had it on him properly). Twisted and Uncomfortable, Poor Quality
on Jan 3, 2022
Straps came twisted from the manufacturer and could not get them to lay flat against the chest and under the front legs causing discomfort. The straps loosened easily with Buddy’s movement and was able to step out repeatedly with his right leg even after straps were re-tightened repeatedly. Poor quality and returning to my 20yo LL Bean harness which worked for previous Walkers and is still in good shape.
Harness and double leash

My trainer recommended this to me for my 9 month old puppy, and it is life changing!! I don’t do reviews a lot, but I felt like I had to share the wealth with this harness and leash. I feel so much more in control on walks and less anxious. It’s a lot easier to guide my pup and makes walks more enjoyable. 10\10 would recommend!
Didn’t stop the pulling
on Jan 2, 2022
Have a 5 month old lab so bought this product after meeting a trainer at a park whom recommended the freedom harness for pulling. Went online and read the reviews so purchased it. Doesn’t do anything. My lab puppy pulls me around just as much as she did before. Done using it will go back to other harness.
Good quality harness

I bought this harness for my strong puller lab. unfortunately the Large size fit him way too snuggly but I had a chance to see the quality of the harness and I love it. It is very nicely made. The part that goes around the belly of the dog is a velvety material - one of the reasons I am looking for a new harness is because my dog's current harness rubs under his arm pits and they are unfortunately raw due to rubbing. This material does not get closer to his armpits or rub. I already ordered the x-large size and I'm looking forward to receiving it.
Effective and Convenient

My very happy lab requires curbing her enthusiasm at first greetings. We hope she'll be a therapy dog and I wanted a specific harness/leash that said "time to be calm" and "on the job." Instead of a martingale collar and a leash plus a harness and leash for control, THIS design works GREAT. My 2 yr old lab went to her first soccer game with 5-6 year olds and I wanted her to be calm with all the distractions of balls, children, other dogs, etc. This design made it effortless, and streamline. She understood her role with ease too. She is English female lab, 70 lbs and the size Large fit perfectly for her deep chest. Thanks for creating this design.

I was disappointed in this harness. Was really hoping I could have more control over my dog walking with this harness. She is a strong dog and will walk well for a while then really pulls. so this didn't work and she actuallyl pulled me down. I have read the directions a lot thinking I must be doing something wrong. So unfortunately I have to rate this low.
Best investment ever!

My dog trainer recommended I try this harness for my 60 lb Golden Retriever because of her pulling. I purchased it and it was like magic!!! She went from pulling so hard that she almost took me down to walking so calmly I can hold the leash in one hand. So far, this was the best investment in her training. Highly recommend this harness.
Best harness I have ever owned.

This harness was recommended in a Pupford video I saw, and we gave it a try. There wasn't anything particularly wrong with our old harness, it was just that we had picked it out with virtually no research and our puppy chewed through it anyway, so we gave this one a shot.
Best harness. Our puppy still pulls, mind you - a LOT - but she's a Shiba Inu so pulling is kind of her jam. That said, it makes her easier to manage and is sturdy, and also comes with a guarantee (in case she chews through this one as well)!
Works Amazing But..

This harness works so well!!! It was actually nice to take my 6mo old golden on a walk for once! …but I left it on for a couple hours in his crate and he chewed though it in two places :’(
