This supplement only deters your dog from eating his own feces with a special blend of ingredients. This supplement was designed for dogs only.

My dogs weigh 15 pounds. Is it safe to give them a whole tablet each?
Answer by ChewyOct 22, 2021
You can administer one whole tablet daily for a 15 pound dog. If you feed your pet two times daily, 21st Century recommends snapping the tablet in half administering ½ with the morning meal and ½ with the evening meal. Please remember that consistent, controlled commands are an essential tool to training a coprophagic dog as well as these tablets.

Made no difference

Lemonade out of lemons review below: My dogs are the appetite suppressants of my shire. If a neighbor is ever binge eating or overdoing it, they look to my yard and see my dogs sniffing, digging and then eating their own feces. Canine-induced nausea may not be recognized as a diagnosis officially, but it sure has helped my neighbors. I wanted to make the nausea show more selective and hoped these supplements would cut back on the poop extravaganza. It did not. Turns out these tablets kept the show going, and so my neighbors have been able to continue their daily dose of nauseous watching the show. (Chewy asks for a photo. I am sparing everyone from watching my dogs eat their own poop.)

another one that didn’t work

I have four labradors who enjoy picking up after themselves in the yard. I decided to try these as they were a bit less expensive and had different ingredients than others I’ve tried in the past. I had to order five bottles just to get a weeks worth of pills. The dosage is based on weight and needs to be fed twice daily so we went through a lot of pills quickly. All four dogs ate the pills readily after all they eat poop so they’re not real discriminate. I can honestly say that the behavior actually got worse while on this particular brand. One of the dogs is an occasional recycler but while on this product she came in with poopy breath every time she went out. With the large amount of snow it is a bit harder right now to pick up after them but they seem to have no trouble digging through a foot of snow to get their reward. I will not be re-purchasing and cannot recommend this product. I will keep looking for something that might detour them a bit.

Works for 2/3 dogs

Our two newest puppies have a poop fascination. I'm glad I saw someone else on here say it could take a bit before the pills started helping. The puppies will eat as many pills as they can get, my older dog on the other hand will not touch them and the puppies love his poop the most. So if you can get the dogs to eat the pills I feel like it does help.

Maybe needs longer to work?

These chews are easy to give. They must taste good, our picky Pit ate them without peanut butter. It's just taking them a little longer to fully work than how I expected.

Didn't work

Fed to my 1 year old pit-bull mix as directed, and didn't work at all. I should have gave up after I finished the first bottle but tried to stick with it and bought a second one thinking maybe I just needed to give it more time. Nope. Just made his stool stinkier

Does not work!

This product does not work. We went through a whole container and it didn’t make any difference with my dog eating his poop.

Smells good but never stopped my dog from eating her poop. I give her 2 a day & it hasn't done a thing for her. Disappointed in the product!

Poop eaters no more?

I found this on Chewy and decided to try it after reading the reviews. I have 3 rescue Labs who eat their poop. I decided to try to deter this behavior. Two of the dogs chew the tablets, one refused so I grind her pills up. Thus far it appears to decrease this behavior. It's early I haven't used the pills for a month yet. No smell. Hopeful this will stop this behavior. I'm still watching and waiting.

Stool Eating Deterrent

I was amazed when this product came twelve hours after ordering!! My Chihuahua puppy took it like a treat! I’m pretty sure it will work because I have used this product before.

Did not work

This did not work at all. We have 2 dogs that eat poop so we gave it to all of our dogs until the bottles were empty and there was no change in them at all.
