Description

Help keep your pet and your home flea-free with the power of Adams Plus Flea & Tick Carpet Spray. You can say goodbye to the frustration of insect infestations in your home with this convenient and potent pest control spray. It is formulated to help kill adult fleas and hatching eggs, ticks, roaches, spiders, ants, water bugs, crickets, sowbugs, carpet beetles and even silverfish. This flea and tick spray contains a highly effective Insect Growth Regulator (IGR), plus other ingredients to not only kill adult fleas, but to also help prevent flea larvae from developing into full-grown biting pests. And this super-simple treatment is perfect for reaching hidden areas where fleas and ticks like to dwell like in rugs, carpets, pet bedding, furniture, drapes and upholstery. One treatment can help protect your home for up to seven months, when applied at the maximum rate.

Key Benefits
  • Helps kill fleas, flea larvae, flea eggs, ticks and more!
  • One 16-oz bottle can cover 2,000 square feet.
  • A single treatment can help protect your home from pests for up to 7 months.
  • Odor-free, stain-free and no sticky mess.
  • Specially designed to use inside your home. Do not spray directly on your pet.
Precautions

HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND ANIMALS: Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Repeated exposure can cause skin irritation. WARNINGS: Contents under pressure. Do not use or store near heat or open flame. Do not puncture or incinerate. Exposure to temperatures above 130° F may cause bursting. Do not smoke while using this product.

Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Instructions

Do not allow adults, children or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried. Do not wet articles to point of runoff or drip. Do not use treated article until spray has dried. Remove or cover exposed food and drinking water before application. Remove or cover dishes, utensils, food processing equipment, and food preparation surfaces, or wash them before use. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact adults, children, or pets either directly or through drift. Remove pets, birds, and cover fish aquariums before spraying.

Shake well before use.

Indoors: Thoroughly vacuum all carpeting, upholstered furniture, along baseboards, under furniture, and in closets. Seal vacuum bag and dispose of in trash outdoors. For newly established or light flea/tick infestations, a single can treats 2000 square feet. To apply at a lower rate and cover more area, spray for 12 seconds to cover a 10 x 10 ft area. To apply at the maximum rate, spray for 12 seconds to cover a 5 x 10 ft area. Remove protective cap. Make a test application to upholstery or drapery fabrics in an inconspicuous place before use. Spray Adams™ Plus Flea & Tick Carpet Spray from 2 ft to 3 ft away from surface being treated. Apply with a smooth back-and-forth motion to carpets, drapes, rugs, and upholstered furniture. A fine mist spray that is evenly applied will do the job properly. Do not spray wood furniture, floors, or trim as water spotting may occur. Repeat treatment as necessary to control fleas and ticks.

Apply directly to exposed insects - roaches, ants, spiders, crickets, water bugs, silverfish, sowbugs, and carpet beetles: Spray areas where these pests are found or may hide, including dark corners of rooms and closets, cracks and crevices, along baseboards and door sills and frames, behind sinks, stoves, refrigerators, and cabinets, and around garbage cans, plumbing and other utility installations. Directly spray pests driven out of hiding places. Spray ant trails, nests, and points of entry. Repeat as necessary.

On Pet Bedding: Treat pet bedding and resting places. Apply a uniform application of Adams™ Plus Flea & Tick Carpet Spray to nearby cracks and crevices, along and behind baseboards, window and door sills, and localized areas of floors where fleas or ticks may be present as these are primary hiding places for fleas. Pet bedding does not need to be removed after treatment.

Indoor Kennels: REMOVE PETS BEFORE SPRAYING. Spray Adams™ Plus Flea & Tick Carpet Spray from 2 ft to 3 ft away from surface being treated. Apply with a smooth back-and-forth motion. A fine mist spray that is evenly applied will do the job properly. Repeat treatment as necessary to control fleas and ticks. For best results, treat pets with a registered on-animal product before they return to the treated areas.

Those who said this doesn't work, fail to realize fleas have life cycles and just spraying ANY PRODUCT only once is NOT going to rid you of the fleas. I sprayed once a week and vacummed everyday for 30 days and my house was flea free! After that, because of the fleas life cycle, for the next 6 months, I vacuumed once a week and sprayed once a month. I have not seen a flea for the 3 years I've been in the house since treating it. I truly tried everything and this was the only thing that worked (but again you must be diligent in getting all the eggs) … more

    always works

I've used this product for 15 years and has worked everytime. I have in the past had severe flea infestations. I had dozens of fleas on my legs all at once. After using this product it instantly stopped. I also gave my cats flea drops at the same time. No more fleas. This spray is awesome!!!

    Above all else

I tried everything. Flea sprays, the aerosol cans you start and have to leave the house, constant cleaning and vacuuming and the ONLY thing that worked was this spray can. I sprayed it directly onto my carpet, bath mats, sheets, comforter, blankets and washed everything in the washer and dryer (dryer most importantly) and kept my dog out of the room for a few hours and then I never had any problems. Only fleas that survived were too weak to even jump off my finger when I went to kill them and my dog had ZERO fleas.

    Not as described

This stuff initially killed the infestation, but it's not doing the 7 month thing it promises. I have sprayed everywhere repeatedly. The glass keep coming back. Additionally I've treated my cats with Frontline gold which does absolutely nothing at all.
