    Picky Chihuahua approved!

    By on

Out of my 10 boys only my Chihuahua constantly decides he doesn't want some sort of wet food anymore. So far he has downed the beef and chicken on his dry. I agree that the fat in the beef and jelly in the chicken is gross but you are paying for pure meat without the peas, carrots, etc. The cans do clearly state that the "meatballs" do shrink during the cooking process. I got 3 meals out of the beef and 4 from the chicken for my little guy. 75¢ to $1 per meal is much cheaper than Nulos pouches so I'm satisfied... as is my Clarkie.

All the dogs love this product

    By on

I have 3 dogs; 4 year old German Shepherd, 8 year old Rat Terrier, and 6 year old Chihuahua. I have been feeding them grain free for years and the benefits can be seen and felt with their coat, less allergies-weeping eyes, and overall good health. I tried this canned beef because it’s as close to the source I can find. It smells and looks great! The dogs LOVE this food. I can make one can last two days as I put over their grain free dry food. I highly recommend this product. I will be adding this to my auto ship.

My dogs seemed to like it,BUT.......

    By on

You don't get a whole can of food. The can is only half a can of food, the rest is greasy liquid. I can usually get a full month of use out of a case of canned dog food. Even with cutting it way back and only using for their medications, I still had to go to pet store and buy extra canned food. If they fill the cans completely up, I would buy it again.

    CANNED FAT

    By on

Cans have big chunks of fat! I'm glad the cans came upside down and most of the fat was at the top. Several tablespoons of it on top and thru out the can. I won't buy it again. Waste of money since I'm throwing out around 1/4 to 1/3 of the can.

    Dogs love but...

    By on

My dogs love the Nothing Else Beef but the floating grease grosses me out, plus there really isn't that much beef in the can. I get much more for my money with their Duck, Salmon, and Pork varieties.

    Dog definitely enjoys.

    By on

My dog enjoys the food very much but the consistency is strange. It's all separated when you open with a liquid/fatty layer above and solid chunk below. mixing makes a mess typically. Once refrigerated for the second use, as I mix this with the dry food, it's somewhat solidified making it more manageable to dispense.

    inconsistent

my dog has many food sensitivities. he is allergic to chicken, cannot have probiotics.i cook 4 turkeys a month, cook white rice ( cannot tolerate brown rice) and beef heart to supplement his diet. This was recommended to me by a veterinarian who has a nutrition and dermatology practice. the one thing i can depend on is that it is never the same. one batch was just plain ugly. the "broth" was black and the meat was tinged with black. i would not feed it. now, since the label says "bone broth" it no longer gels up when cold. that tells me a couple of things;that there is very little fat in it, and that there's lots of water... i am between a rock and a hard place. he cannot eat fish.....or chicken my dog has many food sensitivities. he is allergic to chicken, cannot have probiotics.i cook 4 turkeys a month, cook white rice ( cannot tolerate brown rice) and beef heart to supplement his diet. Disappointed

    By on

This food is palatable and my dog appears to like it. I am disappointed in the packaging. Manufacturer accurately lists the contents net weight however the amount of food is less than the net weight and difference appears to be made up with a liquid. Although the food is good, the packaging causes the cost per serving to increase such that I don't feel it is economical.

Not a lot for the price

    By on

Was a little disappointed with this food. Can has more juice in it than solid food. Dog likes it fine but I wouldn't buy again. Not worth the price for what you get.

    Single ingredient can food.

    By on

It is difficult to find food for our dachshund with many allergies. This food fits her needs. My disappointment was when I opened the can and most of it is juice and not meat.
