What does “supplemental feeding only” actually mean? Does my dog need some other type of food besides the eating the base mix every day with added protein? It’s a confusing statement.

Supplemental Feeding Only means that its not a complete diet until you add the recommended amount of meat. Once you do that, its safe to feed daily.

How much does the dog base make ? Does it make the 7 lb box it says or more ?

The 3 pound box makes 12 pounds of food and the 7 pound box makes 29 pounds.

Love this Food! Super Easy and they love it!

Spent time researching healthy food options for our 4 dogs. Golden 6 yrs old 100 lbs. Terrier Mix (13yrs 22 lbs )and two multi-poos (13 yrs/16 yrs 19/16 lbs).

Spent time researching healthy food options for our 4 dogs. Golden 6 yrs old 100 lbs. Terrier Mix (13yrs 22 lbs )and two multi-poos (13 yrs/16 yrs 19/16 lbs). All four of them LOVE this food. We vary mixing different meets, but it's super easy to mix and we crock pot the meet and make 2-3 days at a time. Dogs seem to have more energy and coats look better. My husband tried it to taste it and said it tasted good. It's definitely a healthy alternative to dog food and much easier than making your own at home. We're sold on this food and will continue to serve it for our babies.

Not loving it

I tried this the first time. My dog ran away from his food bowl. I tried canceling the auto-ship when the second shipment came in unexpectedly and was asked why

I tried this the first time. My dog ran away from his food bowl. I tried canceling the auto-ship when the second shipment came in unexpectedly and was asked why I wanted to cancel. I noted that my dog hated it. Now I have a third shipment that just arrived. This stuff cost just as much as the Dr Harvey's (which my dog eats) and my dog won't even eat any of this. It could be because Dr Harvey's has bits of vegetables but this is mostly dust.

I love feeding my animals this brand. One box goes a long way because you add your own water, unlike canned food, which is mostly water and low % of protein. Good

Good healthy ingredients (I am preferring this grain free option) and high protein. What we feed our animals really matters when it comes to their health, just like us, and I find this to be both a healthy and economical option. Very grateful it was recommended to me.

So close
