Questions & Answers

Is there Tautine? That is a necessary ingredient for cats
Answer by Chewy • Apr 03, 2020
This formula doesn't contain added taurine within the ingredients. Taurine is found naturally within meat, with the level varying depending on the type of meat. At this time, the manufacturer is unable to divulge the specific content in each natural recipe since it is subject to a natural variation.

Two of my three finicky cats love the Tuna and Cheese in Broth natural cat food but why does the label says it is for intermittent or supplement feeding only? One cat has a sensitive stomach and she has a lot less vomiting with this food but is she getting all the nutrition she needs?
Answer by Chewy • Oct 26, 2018
This is designed to be fed in a rotational diet. It should be served daily along with a complete and balanced diet. For balanced nutrition, rotate different protein sources with Almo Nature Complete and dry food.

But isn't tuna and mercury not good for cats?
Answer by Chewy • Apr 28, 2021
Nearly all fish and shellfish contain at least traces of mercury, but the manufacturer maintains high restriction standards for heavy metals.

How much sodium in the formula?
Answer by Chewy • Aug 28, 2019
All of Almo Nature's Natural recipies are formulated without any integration of artificial additives, therefore the content of minerals, vitamins and amino acids is that which is naturally contained in the raw material used before cooking.

Almo Nature Tuna & Cheese Cat Food

The only food my cat will eat. Real chunks of Tuna in a very light broth. Real meat and no fillers. Great food.

Please add vitamins

My cat Tyler has IBD and food allergies. I just bought 2 cans of the natural Almo. H really liked the Chicken Drumstick & the Tuna and cheese. I wish so much you would add vitamins and taurine. The complete Almo has things he is allergic to. I bet lots of pet parents would also feel the same way.

They say it's DELICIOUS!

I have been buying Almo Nature recently and my cats love the varieties of fish and chicken. This one they like a lot. PAWS UP! 5-star rating. Thank you!

Wish I could leave zero stars

This is far too expensive for what it is. I didn't see when I ordered this "food " ( for lack of a better term,) it's NOT nutritionally complete if it doesn't have the necessary nutrients it's the equivalent to junk food. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT

Bad cat food.

This is the second case of almo nature cat food that has been awful The first one (tuna) they wouldn't eat.. This one causes projectile vomiting.. I will never buy almo nature products again.

Was hoping he would like this

My cat baby loves tuna and cheese so I thought this would be a winner as it looks delicious. But it was a no go from him

My cat LOVES this!

This is on the pricey side, but I think it's worth it in order to avoid having to deal with stinky, gross wet food. This stuff basically looks/smells like canned tuna. My cat LOVES it and I can actually stomach putting it in a bowl - win win!

Tuna & Cheese

The product seems to be a good source of protein. It's pure tuna and cheese bits. Christy eats it because she likes tuna....though she seems to leave some of the cheese bits, which surprises me as I thought she liked cheese. I found the cans so difficult to open that I often had to open them with a regular opener instead of simply pulling on them. Also this food is very pricey. Because of the difficulty of opening the cans I won't be ordering this product again.

Finally something they will eat

My cats are picky but they will devour chicken nuggets. Since I can’t let them eat just chicken nuggets, I tried this after several food failures. My old cat jumped up on the counter right after I opened the can. They both devoured this stuff. I was wasting so much food and money trying to get them to eat but no more!

Kitties love it!

I have 2 Sphynx kitties with allergies and IBD and they enjoy this food and it has not bothered their bellies. My female prefers the Tuna/Shrimp but my male loves the Tuna/Cheese.
