When you start your daily adventure with American Journey Grain-Free Dog Food, you're always on the right path to the best nutrition. Real, deboned meat like lamb, beef, salmon or chicken always comes first in the list of ingredients, and you won't see stuff like grains, corn, wheat or soy anywhere. These meals are made with seriously satisfying, flavorful proteins that are rich in amino acids, salmon oil that provides coat-replenishing omegas, and sweet potatoes with beta-carotene.

There's a recipe for every dog, with a choice of several enticing protein sources from deboned meat that's full of amino acids to help maintain lean, strong muscles. Dogs that crave red meat can dine on savory lamb or beef. If poultry is what makes your pup howl, he can chow down on the chicken formula. And for those that crave seafood, the salmon recipe delights the taste buds.
Some pups have a hard time with grains, experiencing upset stomachs and skin issues as a result of eating a diet that is rich in wheat, rye or legumes. Fill your dog's belly and fuel his daily adventures with a grain-free dog food that is nutritionally sound with more of the things he needs to keep him going throughout the day.

American Journey recipes use top-quality ingredients that deliver beneficial nutrients, like antioxidants and essential vitamins and minerals.

Great Food
By Furbabies5 on Jan 6, 2021
I have been getting American Journey from Chewy now for several years; no matter what size dog I have from Dauchunds to our Chow baby. Once they didn't like it Chewy gladly sent out another bag and told me I could just donate. So happy with their service and customer service has always been friendly with the upmost concern, love auto ship comes right to my front door.......Thank you Chewy.....

Dogs Love It
By BCloud on Dec 13, 2020
Both of my dogs love American Journey and will be purchasing it again. Also going to try the wet American Journey which I'm sure my pups will also love. My only complaint is that Chewy shipped both 24 pound bags in one box. You can imagine what that box looked like when it arrived to my door. The tape which sealed the bottom of the box was broken open and a bulky box weighing 48 pounds is much to heavy for me to pick up after it was left just inside my fence. I had to open the box and then tote each bag separately to bring them in the house. I think Chewy should be a bit more conscience of how much weight is placed in a box. Not everyone can haul a box with this much product packaged in it Both of my dogs love American Journey and will be purchasing it again. New food for our dog
By Newfood on Jan 22, 2021
We had to get a new food after our old food was discontinued. We prefer food with veggies and meats in it with low amount of grain, soy and byproduct meal. Our dog Bernie loves sweet potato and seems to really like this new food, had no problem switching over to a new brand.

This is by far the best dog food I’ve bought! My Gator boy has a super sensitive belly and with this we haven’t had any issues! I love it and all it’s nutritious values and so does my dog, he can’t wait to eat everyday! It’s just what we have been looking for!

Helps bad breath
By Jack on Jan 20, 2021
Switched my schnauzer from salmon flavor to chicken. It has helped with bad breath issues. He likes both flavors but we are sticking with the chicken. He needs no grain for his skin conditions. A very good food!

My dog loves it!
By Amanda on Jan 4, 2021
My dog loves this food! She usually gives me issues eating not one issue with this food! She eats her bowl full as soon as I fill it! No digestive issues with it so far either! She seems to really enjoy the flavor as well! I am grateful to have found this food! Chicken and sweet potatoes are her faves!!!

I wouldn't buy ever again
By Tedtherotti on Dec 19, 2020
I have both of my two dogs on two different foods. One of my dogs ran out of his food and I was forced to put him on this one until his new chewy order arrived but he refused to eat it. My rotti never denies food but he wouldn't even eat this one. He would eat it slowly and leave some. Usually he will finish his bowl right away

Great food!
By Belle on Jan 7, 2021
I bought this for my Aussie who could never get over bouts of diarrhea. Some days were better than others when we swapped originally. I then started adding water to the dry food and she has improved dramatically! Great food!

Dog approved x 2

We were using another brand from Chewy that costed almost double the price. I compared the ingredients to this and they were very similar. The dogs love this and they can be picky!
