Is this dog food GMO-free?

The meats used in American Journey are not free of antibiotics and hormones, but they are sourced from USDA inspected facilities and all of the meat used meets USDA, FDA and AAFCO guidelines for use in food. Ingredients used in American Journey pet food does not meet cage-free or free-range criteria . We cannot guarantee that any of the ingredients used in the American Journey formulas do not contain GMO’s

My dog has a food allergy to yeast the ingredient list says there is a fermentation product, is it a yeast?

The Dried Bacillus Coagulans Fermentation Product is probiotics, which are natural, live micro-flora enzymes and are beneficial bacteria that aid in the digestion process.

This worked with my 12 year old Vizsla to relieve his diarrhea when other very fine digestive health dog foods repeatedly failed. I had stabilized him with real sweet potatoes as recommended, so I tried to combine real cooked sweet skinless potatoes with the American Journey Grain Free Chicken and Sweet Potato dry food. This worked . I gradually reduced the real sweet potato supplement and I could tell he really liked the dry (moistened) American Journey chicken and sweet potato. So he is now completely transitioned to the dry food. Success! No more D.

Quality product but pieces are too big

My Yorkie wouldn’t eat this kibble so I moistened it enough to break each piece in half and then he enjoyed eating it all. The ingredients are very good, but right

My Yorkie wouldn’t eat this kibble so I moistened it enough to break each piece in half and then he enjoyed eating it all. The ingredients are very good, but right out of the bag it just isn’t sized right for dogs as little as mine. I would like to see American Journey put out smaller bag sizes with mini pieces like some other brands do. This is strictly a size issue. Beyond that I recommend this product.

Never buying anything else

My dog is allergic to everything under the sun. All grains, sunflower oil, pumpkin, turkey, all the stuff the most dog food have in them. After researching for weeks

My dog is allergic to everything under the sun. All grains, sunflower oil, pumpkin, turkey, all the stuff the most dog food have in them. After researching for weeks for dog food that had all safe things for her to eat, I came across this brand. She loves it, she not itching, scratching or licking herself after a couple weeks of transitioning her to this food. I don’t think we will need to feed her apoquel anymore thanks to American Journey. Also this food has a 5 star rating on Dog Food advisor, so you know the ingredients are top notch and you can beat the price.
