American Natural Premium (ANP) was founded in Wisconsin in 1998. According to founders Gene Large and Jennifer Burlo, they wanted to provide high quality high quality pet food at an affordable price. According to the company, ANP focuses on three main criteria: quality, taste, and price. ANP currently makes nine kibbles for dogs (including three grain free foods); several treats and biscuits; and dry cat food. Company headquarters are located in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.

This formula contains a calcium content of 1.4% to 1.6% and a phosphorus level of 1.1% to 1.3%.

How many cups are in the 4lb bag?

The 4 pound bag has approximately 16 cups of food. The 12 pound bag has about 48 cups and the 30 pound bag has about 120 cups of dry kibble.

Is this formula appropriate for large breed puppies? My older dogs are on it and would like to keep it simple.

This food is suitable for puppies, pregnant or lactating dogs, adult dogs and senior dogs. This food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages including the growth of large size dogs (70 pounds or more as an adult).

They both really love the food and it’s definitely a win-win in our home. We highly, highly recommend it and would give it 10 stars if we could!

My dog, a rescue with a number of food allergies has zero reactions to this dry food and likes it as well. Only one I have found that did not bother him. It’s expensive,

My dog, a rescue with a number of food allergies has zero reactions to this dry food and likes it as well. Only one I have found that did not bother him. It’s expensive, no question about it. But no skin reactions, no vomiting, no scratching or yeasty smell nuthin. It’s really nice not having to worry about what I am feeding him.

Ingredients ok, kibble size sucks.

This brand seems to have quality ingredients, but the kibble size is more suitable for a Chihuahua rather than a Large breed dog. These foods should not be labeled

This brand seems to have quality ingredients, but the kibble size is more suitable for a Chihuahua rather than a Large breed dog. These foods should not be labeled for large breed and if they are they need to start uploading photos of the actual size of the kibble. This is the second time I ordered what I thought was high quality food for my large breed when in reality the kibble was way smaller than it should be for large breed.. either the listing was published wrong or the search platform on chewy isn't accurate enough.
