What’s the difference between Ultrah edge and ceramic blades

Answer by ChewyMar 28, 2019
UltraEdge blades are long-lasting and dependable. These blades undergo a special hardening process and are finished in chrome to resist corrosion and keep them sharp. CeramicEdge blades are the pinnacle of blade technology, a high tech zirconium oxide ceramic cutting blade means they run cooler than steel and stay sharper longer. CeramicEdge blades are perfect for the hair professional who does a high volume of clipper cuts.

Quality on Andis Blades is Down!

These blades keep going down in quality and no quality control. Been buying them for 15 plus years. This one is a 30 blade. When removed from its sealed package

These blades keep going down in quality and no quality control. Been buying them for 15 plus years. This one is a 30 blade. When removed from its sealed package it looks used. It has little scratches all over the front of the blade and chinese symbols on the back of the blade. It was also dirty. Not the level of quality control I expected from Andis. Will be trying other brands in the future.

These blades are perfect! Great for a close trim but also the standard size to fit attachments to. Great buy!

Tried to trim inside of goat ears, but blade was too dull to cut. Had blade sharpened by professional livestock tool sharpening company and was told that would be the only time they could sharpen due to thickness of cutting edge.

Not Sharp

I ordered a 10 blade and it came in extremely dull. They sent me out a replacement (chewy has great customer service) but even the replacement was dull. Not sure
