what is the shelf life once opened for the 5 lb tub?

Once the seal is broken it is usually best by 2 years, but then still does not expire but loses anywhere between 5-7% effectiveness per year after the seal is broken.

Can this be used on large breed 120lb dog?

Opened packaging on arrival

My chewy.com order came and this product had been opened and half of the container had been used. It appeared to be used by someone, returned and then repackaged

My chewy.com order came and this product had been opened and half of the container had been used. It appeared to be used by someone, returned and then repackaged. I will not be using this product in that condition. I would like a refund or a new, non-opened container to replace the current one.

Made Horse Very Itchy

Day 6 on this my horse got very Itchy. So bad she could barely stand still. Also had shortness of breath. I don't recommend.

The best joint supplement isn't always the most expensive one

I had two horses come into my training barn that I knew would benefit from a joint supplement. After lots of research the PureFlex was the only one I could find

I had two horses come into my training barn that I knew would benefit from a joint supplement. After lots of research the PureFlex was the only one I could find that had the proper amount of glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM. Within two weeks of starting on PureFlex both horses' movement improved dramatically. I recently started my 26 year old gelding on it too. I'm amazed at how well it's working.

This supplement has quite a high amount of 3 important joint supplements (Glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM) For the money, this is one of the best that I have found. Thanks Animed! I use it on 2 oldies and one with navicular and it helps them move along and maintain their joint health as long as possible.

Works great and very affordable

I started using this on my 18 year old gelding who has arthritis and started walking stiff and limping. It has worked so well for him and he actually walks so much

It has worked so well for him and he actually walks so much better and is now able to be rode for light riding. I give him a 1 scoop twice a day with his feed and he doesn't mind the taste. This is def worth it if you are not wanting to spend too much money.

My horse has been on this only 2 weeks, too soon to tell how well it works. But, at least he will eat it, mixed with his grain. Seems like a good combination For
