What size are the kibble pieces? Would they be appropriate as training treats?

This formula contains bite sized kibble which is about the size of a large pea.
Are your ingredients human grade?

The ingredients are not human grade, however this food is grain-free and non-GMO.
How high is the heat used in making this kibble? Concerned about the loss of nutrition and carcinogins. Thank you.

Annamaet foods are extruded and not baked. Annamaet uses the highest quality ingredients and our plant performs a slower cook at a lower temperature. As you are probably aware, animal proteins are most digestible in a raw state so we don't want to over cook them or at a temperature that is too high. Starches on the other hand are most digestible to the dog when cooked. So, a slow cook at a lower temperature maximizes the digestibility of both. Cooking temperature is 230 degrees Fahrenheit.
