Will this affect the snails in my tank?

Answer by ChewyJun 16, 2018
This treatment is designed for the use with tropical fish only and may cause harm to your snails.

My fish's gills won't seem to close and there puffed out and have these things poking out of them will this help? What should I do?

Answer by ChewyDec 14, 2017
If the Bettafix doesn't work we'd recommend trying the API E.M. Erythromycin to Treat Bacterial Disease in Fish. It works treats a wide range of bacterial diseases such as body slime, mouth fungus, open lesions, bacterial gill disease and hemorrhagic septicemia.

If my cat drinks the water with the treatment in it, will it hurt my cat? Thanks

Answer by ChewyDec 07, 2020
While it is important to keep the bottles of concentrated product away from animals, once the product is diluted per the dosing instructions it then becomes safe for any pets or wildlife to come and either swim or take a drink from the water.

If my Betta tank has a filter should it be turned off while using Bettafix?

Answer by ChewyMar 07, 2019
It recommended to always keep the filter running during treatment.

Chewy refunded me for this product because it did nothing to really help my fish. But I don’t blame the product I think he just needed something stronger. When I got him he had red sores on his head and they continued to get worse, this product helped stop them from getting worse but didn’t heal them even after using the entire bottle over the course of a week.

How quickly it was delivered

It was what I needed for my sick beta fish and I was unable to find it anywhere local. Happy to say he’s back to health.
