Will this product help my betta with swim bladder ?
Answer by ChewyNov 21, 2017
These drops help with wounds, ulcers, mouth fungus, fin and tail rot and frayed or torn fins. It isn't intended for swim bladder.

Will this affect the snails in my tank?
Answer by ChewyJun 16, 2018
This treatment is designed for the use with tropical fish only and may cause harm to your snails.

My fish's gills won't seem to close and there puffed out and have these things poking out of them will this help? What should I do?
Answer by ChewyDec 14, 2017
If the Bettafix doesn't work we'd recommend trying the API E.M. Erythromycin to Treat Bacterial Disease in Fish. It works treats a wide range of bacterial diseases such as body slime, mouth fungus, open lesions, bacterial gill disease and hemorrhagic septicemia.

I was thinking about using this for my new Betta, who appears to have fin rot. I have a moss ball in his tank, will this med kill the moss ball? Should I remove it for the duration of treatment?
Answer by ChewyOct 23, 2017
As this product is natural it should not affect anything else you have in your tank except for crustaceans and will be safe for moss balls.

works miracles

This saved my fish, Red. He was solid black originally, he turned white on the front half of his body and his fins and tail began to tear and become jagged. We tried a different brand of fungus/bacterial aid, it did not help. We used this daily for a whole week and he is almost completely black again and his fins are growing back and look healthy again

Used it twice, not effective

I had a betta with tears, and he just overall looked like he wasn't doing well, used this he wasn't doing well so I medicated him again and it ultimately didn't work. Other medications work better than this on bettas.

A great alternative

This is a great alternative to medicating your fish with antibiotics. If you catch things early this stuff works miracles. I keep it on hand for any of my bettas who may be looking under the weather.

Bettafix API

Great stuff!!!!, Our Betta was accidentally scooped out of his tank with a net, and dumped into the trash can with only God knows what in the bottom?#lookedlikemilk? I went to feed him a couple hours later, he was gone? Wasn't like him so I leaped into action searching for him. Found him swimming in trash can put him into his tank with a bottle of this BETTAFIX, and the tough little guy survived and hasn't looked better.

DO NOT BUY

Please do not buy this product or any other product that has the word “fix.” It is nothing but tea tree oil that causes more harm than good. You can ask many experienced fish keepers. Ive lost too many fish to this medication in the past.

Saved my bettas life

Ludwig stopped eating, became lethargic, and was covered in a white cotton mold on his fins and gills. 1tsp/day had him good as new within 7 days. Never in my life would I have guessed that not only would I be buying medicine for a fish, but said medicine actually works. Truly amazing.

Saved his fins

My betta has a nice tank, but his back fin had some unpleasant fin rot. It was horrible to see so I used this, did some water changes and within a week his fins are already showing new growth. And he’s energetic and happy again!
