Great ingredients

I hoped but my cats did eat this but they were not fans. It stayed in their bowl most of the day. I wish they liked it as it had such great ingredients.

This canned food is not a puree, but almost. It's quite soft and very well suited for senior cats or can't to have had many extractions like mine. It has a good aroma. A little goes a long way. You have to work it into their diet very slowly. It tells you on the package how to do it/on the chewy page for that item. Serve at room temperature, stir well before serving. My boy likes it a lot!

The ingredients on this are amazing, and it looks like puréed chicken! I love that the first ingredient is chicken breast, and the smell is unobtrusive to human noses. Unfortunately, my cats just don’t like it. They are American cats through-and-through and used to eating the junk food variety of cat food, so their pallets are just not here for this. My older cat did go hardcore into it the first day, but now he won’t touch it (did get a pic that day at least). My younger cat is not a big wet food guy, and he wouldn’t even try it. He likes crunchers. Overall though, these ingredients are fantastic, and I think it’s a good product from what I can tell. I am taking a star off because my cats don’t care for it, but it does seem like very high quality cat food.

We all know cats are very picky, and my 3 cats are unsure about this food. So far, there hasn’t been an outright refusal, but they don’t gobble it up with as much

We all know cats are very picky, and my 3 cats are unsure about this food. So far, there hasn’t been an outright refusal, but they don’t gobble it up with as much enthusiasm as I would prefer. This food comes in a can, which is great for most people, but I personally prefer the boxes for both ease of use and sustainability so I would love to see Applaws use these in the future (hence 4 stars, not 5)! Secondly, this food is a great consistency for any cat that doesn’t like big chunks, especially if they’re missing some teeth since it has a nice smooth and liquidy texture. Lastly, the cans are the perfect size for feeding more than one cat at a time since they’re not too big and not too small, so if you’re a multi cat household then I would recommend trying it!

This looks and smells like a high quality food that I am very happy feeding my two cats. My 7 year old male eats anything and loves this soft pate! My 6 year old male is very very picky and at first would not even taste this new food. He has now been coaxed to try it and seems to tolerate it which is as good as he gets! The ingredients are healthy, the cans are sturdy and not easily dented (however they may be difficult to open if you have trouble with your hands) and my two cats have not suffered any digestive issues on this food as they often do on wet food.
