Disappointed

This toy is extremely tough and my dog wants nothing to do with chewing it. The treat dispenser does not work at all. The toy is not squeezable enough to dispense the treats. I had to dig them out with a stick. I then cut off the nubs to allow treats to dispense which then they just fall out and once my dog pushes it around and dumps all the treats she again wants nothing to do with this toy. I think it's the rubber smell and toughness that is too hard.

Great toy, but...

My dog loves this toy!! He's not an aggressive chewer at all with his toys, so I wasn't worried about all the little groove shapes in the gorilla. But, they are thinner than they look in the picture so they get torn up very quickly. I would like this toy better if the little grooves weren't tearing off from his teeth... but it's an easy fix, just trim it with scissors. This is a favorite toy for him and it will last him for some time.

The Best….AROUNDDDDDD

Seriously these are the best I’ve found. Bought 5 over a year ago and the ones we didn’t lose are still going strong and are their favorite toys. They literally fight over these so we ordered 2 more this year just to have some extras in the house. They do lose the tippy top of their heads but they last forever. Well worth it and will definitely buy again. Picture is of one of the old ones they still play with daily.

Not suitable for tough chewers

Dogs showed a lot of interest in it but within 12 minutes, our lab had popped the head off and swallowed it whole. Since it was far too large to pass, it had to be surgically removed from his small intestine. Would only recommend for gentle chewers.

Great for tough chewers

My todos loves to rip and destroy and she growls at this toy in frustration. She’s only managed to rip off part of the head and one gorilla fist. Not so great for treat dispenser, very hard to get out for me and almost impossible for my dog. It has lasted a week now and she hasn’t completely destroyed it, I also got a large and it’s a little big for her.

Great for My Tough Chewers

This is the only toy that has lasted longer than a few days without being shredded. I have a black lab and a pit bull, the lab is a heavy chewer. I've had this for nearly 2 months now and they chew on it daily, and it's still in tact! Will purchase again.

Durable toy

This is durable for my very tough chewer! At 8 months old we’ve had to throw out every toy he’s used for a very select few. This one is lasting! It’s rubber and the shape of it is not conducive to ripping pieces off. He also likes to toss it in the air and chase it.

Strong smell and Beagle doesn't care for it

This treat toy has a very strong, off-putting smell. My 2 year old, 26lb. beagle played with it once without treats and another time when I put a few treats in. However, the treats do not come out easily and she gave up. I had to stick my finger in the toy to retrieve the treats and she hasn't touched it since. Bummer...

Dog Chew Toy

Our dog is a heavy chewer and usually destroys toys in a day. He seems to have met his match with this one. I have not put treats in it yet, but he would probably love that !

Smells like chemicals

Only dog toy I've bought for my pittie, that she will NOT chew on. She wants nothing to do with it. I'm assuming because of the strong chemical odor this little thing puts off.
