Cat Trees: A Must for Your Cat

Cat trees are more than important—they’re vital to the well-being of your cat. While cat trees provide hours of entertainment for both you and your kitty, the most important reason to get a cat tree is for your cat’s health and happiness.

Cats Love Armarkat Trees, and So Will You

All cats instinctively scratch, and without a healthy outlet, they will relentlessly scratch furniture, causing damage. Cat trees can stop that.

Why Get a Cat Scratcher?

Cat scratchers provide:
  • A place for your cat to scratch, play, climb and explore
  • An opportunity to teach your cat about different surfaces
  • A chance to practice good grooming habits
  • A diversion from scratching furniture and other home surfaces
  • A great way to entertain your cat while you're away

Choosing the Right Scratcher

Some considerations to help you pick:
  • Vertical cat posts let cats stretch up and scratch down
  • Horizontal scratchers are preferred by some cats
  • Sisal carpet and rope surfaces are durable and satisfying to claw
  • Faux fur is soft and provides a great place to rest and relax.

The Best Cat Tree for Your Furry Friend

Because cats have a need to climb, a quality cat tree provides healthy exercise. If you have multiple cats, the tree becomes a place for them to play.

Different Styles

Cat trees come in a variety of designs and materials, and you can find wooden, plastic and even fiberglass models.

Durable Materials

Armarkat cat trees are designed to be attractive and functional and are made with durable wood, metal and fiberglass.

Easy to Assemble

Most models require no tools at all to assemble, and if you choose a standalone cat tree, it comes with instructions.

Multiple Sizes

Armarkats are available in three sizes: Small (12"H x 12"W), Medium (18"H x 18"W),or Large (24"H x 24"W).

Both picky kitties are a fan!

Cats were interested in all the parts as soon as the box was opened. They loved each level as a cat bed and playing with the posts and fish. After assembly (took 5 minutes), they were fans of both levels of the tower. They enjoy play fighting over the different levels. Tower is also cute, great colors! Though I think the fish color is a wild card, mine came with orange! I’ve had a tower from this brand last 10 years before so I have high hopes but it definitely isn’t “real wood” like I believe it said. Still, the pieces feel sturdier than many other brands I’ve seen. It’s a little small but I have 2 large male cats and they don’t mind. I would give 5 stars, BUT it’s a bit wobbly and off balanced (I think due to the asymmetrical design). It feels like it may be worse on carpet rather than hard wood. If you have a corner or furniture to put it next to, it shouldn’t be a problem. For sitting and laying down, it won’t budge. But if you have intense playful large cats, it’s going to topple over… repeatedly. Super light weight though and is only occasional after the initial hyper over-drive “new cat tower” play session. Easy to assemble, comes with Allan wrench. Very straightforward (especially if you’ve ever had a cat tower before) so I don’t mind the picture-only instructions. I’d say a reasonable price is about $35. Maybe $40-50 if I had smaller, calmer cats…

Not sturdy, not safe for cats

The base is very thin and flimsy. It is very top heavy and tipped the minute one of cats jumped on top. We will need to add a new heavier base for it to be usable for our cats. I'm very disappointed in this product. It is NOT safe.

Cats love it

The cat tree was easy to put together (even tho the wrong directions were sent in the box)! My one cat jumped on it right away and hasn't left it when I got done with it!

love it

Hi, I am Patches, a 3 month old kitten. My adoptive human purchased this for me. She was impressed by the detailed instructions to put it together, how well constructed it is, and how durable. I don't know what any of that means. What I do know I spend countless hours perched on top napping or watching the world outside.

Terrible Design and unsafe.

Unfortunately, my cat was having a blast on his new tree but this tree is not very good and won't last long. It's insanely unbalanced and I'm currently using two 20lb weight to keep it steady and it's still unbalanced. There was a sharp metal plaque on the tree that is very poorly fixed on which a cat or human could easily slit their skin open. I highly recommend against buying this tree, it's really not worth your money at all. I wish I could return it.

My Cat Found His Favorite Stuffy

Overall nice sturdy product, easy to build and keep clean. It’s a small, not super ugly cat tower which is honestly better than half the towers out there. If it’s not secured to a wall, there is a tipping risk (just like with any other tower). The little dangle toy that came attached, a small blue stuffed fish, immediately became my kittens favorite “prey.” He detached it and would just carry it around all day long like his most prized possession. I caught him cuddling it more than once. Unfortunately my dog has since eaten the stuffed fish, and my poor orange boy is without a stuffed fishy. Literally buying the tower again with the hopes we may get another stuffed blue fishy

Not a Good Purchase

Tilts over way too easily, even before my kitten climbed onto it. She was just scratching the sisal post, and over it went.

Very fun tower!

I was worried about this one being wobbly at first since the top tier only has one support. My 12 lb cat happily navigates the entire tree, no wobbling or tipping has occurred. This one is in the master bedroom. I'm one again pleasantly surprised that my cat is using something I spent money on :).

Great small and colorful cat tree!

I love this and so do my cats. I am sure if you had an overweight cat it could tip over. So far my full grown cats are loving', it. One sleeps on top and one in middle. I got it for kittens that I have rescued but too big for their enclosure they are in right now. Will get another one for them. Was easy to put together and is very sturdy.

Regretful purchase

I wish I would have read more of the reviews first. This tree is super wobbly. We have it leaning against our coffee table to prevent it from falling over whenever one of the cats jump onto it. Definitely not a standalone cat tree like we would have liked.
