Love this product at the beginning, but now nothing but webs and bugs

The birds love the seeds and it really gets them going in the morning, but the last two bags (5 weeks apart) has lots of webs and bugs. I made the mistake of opening

The birds love the seeds and it really gets them going in the morning, but the last two bags (5 weeks apart) has lots of webs and bugs. I made the mistake of opening in the house, now I have all these worm bugs on the ceiling trying to metamorphosis. I'll wait a few months and try again.

We hung up the birdfeeder the other day and filled it with this food, and none of the birds came around. We waited a few days and even threw some of the seed on the ground, and still no birds. Most of the bag were sunflower seeds. So we mixed it with another bag that didn’t have any sunflower seeds and saw a few birds there today, but I would never buy the seat again unless I was just feeding squirrels.

Seed is covered in some type dust - clogs feeder ports

Nice blend of seeds, But, seeds in the 2 bags I purchased are covered in some type of dust, Is it grain dust , floor sweepings, ????? The dust settles in the botton

Nice blend of seeds, But, seeds in the 2 bags I purchased are covered in some type of dust, Is it grain dust , floor sweepings, ????? The dust settles in the botton of feeders and clogs the ports. So every day, I need to shake the feeders to clear the dust.

I started using this because it is so cold out and I thought it might help the larger ground feeders-doves, jays, and cardinals--cope with the cold. Every bird I have--titmice, chickadees, several finch species, woodpeckers (red bellied and downy)--all love it. As do the squirrels and two very fat racoons. There is no filler. Just peanuts, sunflowers, and corn.

Great mix

The high energy seed is full of nuts , its a great mix. The wild bird seed attracts the smaller birds. I was really happy with both.
