    Cats say NO THANKS

By Zookeeper on Oct 7, 2021

I have 5 cats, this can sit there all day and no one will eat it! I don't know what is so bad about it but they do not like it. I bought it to try as it was on sale, but it was not a hit with my group and I would not buy it again.

Only wet food my cat will eat

By KittysMom on Aug 6, 2021

Avoderm chicken and duck is the only brand and flavor of wet food that my picky little cat will eat. I live in fear of the day Chewy stops carrying this. When Avoderm tweaked the formula last year my cat was suspicious but decided it was ok. Somehow she knows when I get a new case because she’ll sniff suspiciously before she eats.

Mom likes, Fur Babies not so much!

By FurBabiesMom on May 30, 2021

My 2 flame point Himalayan cats (now 3 years old) grew up on AvoDerm pate. They no longer cared for pate. After many trials of different brand choices(which none met the fur babies' palettes), I discovered Chewy carried a greater variety of AvoDerm wet cat food! So we gave this a try. The food smells and looks good. There is lots of gravy. I have to say they do like the gravy on this entree, but do not finish the meat! Seems like we are making progress, but not there yet.

    Our kitties say "yes please"

By EMagin on Mar 30, 2021

Our two cats are very finicky eaters. They don't like pate, and they like some flaked or chunked food in gravy, but not all. We'd been getting the AvoDerm sardine, shrimp & crab, and they like that a lot. For variety, I was getting another canned food for alternating days, but I just bought this AvoDerm with chicken & duck and they like this one just as much as the seafood. Some canned cat foods smell like pet food, but these smell kind of like human food, which I think is very respectful of our kitties.

Not a go! Guess we'll have to try another.

By BarbieR on Oct 8, 2020

Unfortunately, neither of my cats would touch this food even when mixed with the food they will eat. I have to admit when the can was opened, I thought it had an unpleasant smell.

None of my cats would eat it

By Jess on Dec 4, 2019

I have 4 cats (ages 1, 5, 5, and 15) who are fed a rotational diet. They will eat just about any wet food, as long as it’s not pate. I wanted to give this a try, since I hadn’t fed it before and I wanted them to have duck. Unfortunately, none of my cats would touch it! I tried numerous times, but had to feed them something else. I don’t know why they won’t eat it, but it was worth a try.

    Cat loves it

By Amanda on Oct 15, 2019

My cat has been eating this for over a year and she still gets excited for it every mealtime. We feed her this in the evenings and dry cat food in the mornings.
