Sadness

I hate these are my birds favorite food and eats them alive but to make them suffer so much through shipping that they either arrive dead or half die within a week

I hate these are my birds favorite food and eats them alive but to make them suffer so much through shipping that they either arrive dead or half die within a week is even sadder. I wish the company could ship them in a more comfortable and healthier way. Plus, it leaves me scrambling since shipping takes 2 weeks. It is the only way I guess:(

Unfortunately, when I received my meal worms, they were all black & dead, interspersed with dead beetles. The outside box as labed "Crickets, keep warm"; unfortunately,

Unfortunately, when I received my meal worms, they were all black & dead, interspersed with dead beetles. The outside box as labed "Crickets, keep warm"; unfortunately, that is the opposite of how you want to store mealworms - the warmer they are, the quicker they turn into beetles. I live in a very rural town where the nearest pet stores are 116 miles away. I got these for my tarantulas. Now I have to wait until I can take a day off to drive the 116 miles just to get them something to eat.

Disgusted, disappointed, disrespected

I only selected a star due to not being able to have it empty. I was super excited that I found these on here so I would no longer have to run out to the store to get them. Today, my first and ONLY shipment I will ever get! There are ants all over my house now! There were ants crawling out of the box and when my son and I opened it to see if the worms were okay to pull out they were COVERED by ANTS!!!! I actually felt bad for the worms as they were trying to fight their way out of the bag to get away from the ants! Extremely disgusted by this and cannot believe these were shipped to someone's home like this! Never again will I order these or anything live! Took plenty of photos and video as well but they would not upload. Also, I ended up throwing them all away because I was not taking the chance of having more spread.

Not great! Very disappointed!

We purchased a 250 count once and it arrived in perfect condition and all mealworms were alive, so we ordered again, twice, getting the 500 count, but both times

We purchased a 250 count once and it arrived in perfect condition and all mealworms were alive, so we ordered again, twice, getting the 500 count, but both times they arrived in horrendous conditions. Mealworms were black, dead, and smelly and container was smashed, slashed open and spilled out all over the box. Not packaged well at all. Definitely won’t be purchasing from here again.

The worms were in a canvas drawstring bag, and kept crawling out. It took me a long time to get them all out, as they kept coming out and crawling g on my counter
