I did a lot of research regarding dog chews, bully sticks rated number one, so taking a chance, I bought 8 pkgs for our 6 month old pup. I will tell you, I have mixed reviews, I’m not sure if the company wants the chews to smell like rotten flesh or not as the first bag smelled ok and our pup chewed it with no problems. The next 2 bags smelled absolutely horrible, rancid, it would knock your head off. I threw them out. We’re ranchers and we know that dogs love to drag up and eat dead carcasses, but this is ridiculous. We’re on the 4th pkg, it has a slight rancid smell, but our pup chews it, so far no illness. I don’t usually post reviews, but I think Chewys should contact the actual Best Bully Stick Company and report this problem.

The best chews

So my pomeranian just loves these chews. I brought him to vet last week and he said his teeth are incredible. I told him he's chewing on these bully sticks and I asked are these ok for him and he said YEP!

Disappointing

I have 20lb dogs so I bought the thick bully sticks thinking they would last longer. Nope. The pieces in the package were really not thick at all. I usually take them away after 30 minutes, but one dog finished his during that time. My dogs aren’t heavy chewers so I’m surprised they didn’t last long.

False Advertising?

Very unhappy with this product! Product arrived looking nothing like the advertising photos. Thinnest sticks are about the width of 2 pencils. Thickest about 3 pencils wide. There is clearly no packaging control, they only write a count on the bag, no weight, and no standard for "thick".

This bully stick disappears in a flash! He's a chewer but I don't think these are worth the money. He's done with it in a few minutes!

Long lasting bone

My dog loves bones but goes through most very fast and I didn’t want to buy rawhide. This has lasted the longest and she loves them!

The Best Bully Bones were terrible and dangerous for my small pups! They have several sharp pieces on them, I will not order these again, they should be discontinued, but I do like the pro plan and the ceasar wet dog food!!

So I bought these and the “jumbo” bully sticks and there was NO difference in size so save yourself some money.

My dog loves these!

I got these for my "super chewer" dog. I was hoping the thicker ones would last him a while but he can get through one stick in about 45 minutes. He goes crazy for them when I open the bag. They smell pretty awful, but that is to be expected from natural animal products. My dog certainly approves!

Great for heavy chewing

My 3 month old puppy is teething and chewing on everything. These bully sticks keep him occupied for quite a while and distract him from chewing on things he shouldn’t. He isn’t able to chew off pieces that could be harmful if swallowed.
