The small lux beds do not have a removable cover. The medium size bed does have a removable cover.

Can I wash the filler?

The Small and Medium beds are safe to machine wash and dry. The Large and X-Large beds feature a zipper shell that is safe to machine wash and dry. Simply follow the care instructions on the labels - machine wash, gentle cycle, and tumble dry on low heat.

Does the liner keep urine from seeping into the polyfil?

Soft and cozy Appearance

I was hoping that this would be a great fit for my aging pup. Unfortunately it does not offer enough cushion/support on floor. While the sides are raised and cushioned

I was hoping that this would be a great fit for my aging pup. Unfortunately it does not offer enough cushion/support on floor. While the sides are raised and cushioned and cozy, the round base needs to have something more than minimal fiber fill cushion inside. My pup how’s arthritis so unfortunately, it was not a good fit. Customer service at CHEWY helped me find a much better unfortunately not as cozy supportive bed. If only I could marry the two designs together. It would be the ideal landing spot.

My Dog is not a chewer, so I can’t comment of how long it will last, but my border collie/Blue healer loves it bed. The first one we ordered was too small, but the next day she forced her body into it. I have now ordered a large. The feel wonderful. I may get in it myself:). Appears to be very well made, no funny smell and they are washable. If you have a Border Collie size dog, I would suggest the large. Mine like to store a few toys in hers so extra space is great. You can even train your dog to put their toys in it. Just call it their “place and tell them to carry their toys to it. They like having a place to put thiings well some of the time.

bed is soft but smells horrible

While the dog bed is really plush, the chemical odor is so strong that I recommend it be laundered several times before use or left outside to air for a long time
