not as good as the ads made it seem to be

While my dog likes the shape, ease in 'holding' and textures of the ends, it gets these sharp shards that come off with chewing that are concerning. The bone is

While my dog likes the shape, ease in 'holding' and textures of the ends, it gets these sharp shards that come off with chewing that are concerning. The bone is pricey, we have had it for less than 2 weeks, and I already had to take it away because of the shards coming off it. My dog is not a power chewer, but has already removed the texture of the ends. The Nylabone Easy Hold is better, lasts longer, and hasn't had any shards. Also, the picture for this review incorrectly says we had the mini--we had the large for a 60 lb collie.

Good but not great

Zeus chooses this to chew on in the morning. It doesn’t captivate his attention for very long as much as the Nylabones do. Chose this as it is safer for consumption

My dog loves it

It's safe and my dog loves it. It will leave a few little crumbs on the carpet but that's the only drawback. Prob all bones do that.

It's just like Goldilocks

I tried hard, medium and soft density. Soft is too soft. Hard is too hard. Medium is just right - tough enough it's more of a chew than a snack, but not so tough

I tried hard, medium and soft density. Soft is too soft. Hard is too hard. Medium is just right - tough enough it's more of a chew than a snack, but not so tough I worry about her teeth cracking/breaking. She's about 24 lbs and a super intensive chewer so my only gripe is this doesn't last us long BUT it lasts longer than duck necks/ chicken feet / tracheas etc. My ideal is bully sticks but she's intolerant to beef and scratches her face til it bleeds every time I try to include beef in her diet. So this is our next best thing. If they ever stop offering natural/non flavored options though, we're out. But for now, this works great for our purposes.

These definitely crumble with use, which is supposed to be better than the nylon counterparts. It's messy, but if it's better for my dogs' teeth, I'm happy.

My dog never really got interested

My dog loves to chew things but he had only a mild interest in this. He only chews or licks it if I reb peanut butter or his favorite dog toothpaste flavor on
