unsafe :(

i was hoping for a more environmentally friendly alternative to nylabones. however within 12h of use, one of the large knobs broke off. without a size guide, i assumed

i was hoping for a more environmentally friendly alternative to nylabones. however within 12h of use, one of the large knobs broke off. without a size guide, i assumed that the small size would be appropriate for my 2 medium sized, moderate chewer dogs. unfortunately, this product is dangerous and can become a choking risk way too easily.

My older dog loooved his nylon based bone but would ingest a bit too much plastic for my comfort. Plus, when I got my 6 month old puppy, she immediately cut her gums on it. I took it as a sign to look for alternatives and found these. Upsides: -Both dogs LOVE them and they are a total lifesaver in occupying my pups -No worry about them eating plastic -No bleeding gums -Great size for my now 30 and 50 pound dogs Downsides (still worth it to me) -The bones shed little tiny pieces (not choking size, just a little messy) -I have to replace more frequently than the nylon. I imagine the hard ones may help with those last things, but I got one of those too and they always a grab the mediums instead.

These Betterbones were recommended as a safer alternative to our beloved fur kids’ nylon bones. They are aggressive chewers for border collies, but after a serious dental corrective procedure, we needed to try something else. The kids love them, but because they’re designed to break down into tiny pieces, it’s inevitable that they’re also messy. Little grits everywhere, but it’s a small price to pay to keep their teeth in better shape.

FedEx absolutely refuses to follow delivery instructions so unless you will allow me to ship via UPS or USPS, I can no longer be a customer of Chewy. I have sent this message to Chewy via FB...no response...I have contacted FedEx and also no response...they do not care! I have a brand new driveway that cost me several thousands of dollars...all other delivery companies are parking in the street and walking packages up because their trucks will destroy my driveway. FedEx absolutely refuses to do the same...

We're not thrilled with this bone. It has 3 different "nubs" for chewing and my girl only likes one. She'll gnaw on the smooth one, the other 2 are untouched. I

We're not thrilled with this bone. It has 3 different "nubs" for chewing and my girl only likes one. She'll gnaw on the smooth one, the other 2 are untouched. I might try a different style but this isn't working for us. She enjoys what she chews, but I don't feel that we're getting full value from it. This brand gets good reviews, worth a try if your dog isn't too particular.

Said this bone was easy on teeth

While it may be a softer bone for my older dog to chew on.. it is NOT easier to digest. My poor dog was pooping and puking pieces of the bone after a few days.

Good but very small size, delicate

Our dogs loved these but were a little too small, the large is really big so I thought small would be better - but in the future we will stay with large ones.
