Perfect for my toothless cat

Abigail is an older cat who finally lost her teeth to stomatitis. She doesn’t act it!!! She googles down kibble and eats wet food, too. I bought this because

Abigail is an older cat who finally lost her teeth to stomatitis. She doesn’t act it!!! She googles down kibble and eats wet food, too. I bought this because it has a consistency that is easy for her to eat. Charlie will eat anything. Neither of them will eat pate. This wet food is great. Smell stronger than I prefer, but Abby and Charlie love it! The only criticism I have is the pop off lids are awful. Almost impossible to lift and I struggle to get the lid halfway opened. Seriously struggle. Gave the 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lid issue.

I tried 7 cans at different times. Two of the cats prefer dry food most of the time - so no surprise there. Tino mostly eats wet food. It’s a brand he loves, but

Moisture content

Gracie is not a fan of wet food of any type, texture, flavor, even blending the pate, she may take a lick and/or lick all the juice/gravy but leave the rest. So,

Gracie is not a fan of wet food of any type, texture, flavor, even blending the pate, she may take a lick and/or lick all the juice/gravy but leave the rest. So, decided the try the Gravy," hydrating" food. More gravy with bits of meat, and she still left the meat pieces, but lapped up all the gravy. So this was the most promising way to get more moisture into her body. Dry food is her go to, but at least I am getting moisture into her to prevent issues down the road with digestive issues and having to give her meds to keep her from getting constipated.
