Boxiecat Unscented Odor Control Clumping Clay Cat & Kitty Litter, 28-lb bag

I switched to this after having some breathing issues for me and my cat from a previous litter. So nice to dump the bag and not see the normal puff of dust! I’m not someone who doesn’t scoop right away so I cannot speak off odor control and it does track a little out of the box a few feet but having all black furniture and not seeing footprints, it is amazing. 2nd bag I bought for my other cats box. She was totally an anthropologist in her last life and black and still nothing on her fur or footprints. I just got my 3rd bag and it is different. Darker and not as fine. Hoping it’s just a batch and not a product change. That is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.

Now this cat litter is heavy, not saying other aren’t but this can feel extra heavy at times. I also buy the 40lb bags each time but the cat litter is very worth it. I have disabilities that prevent me from constantly scooping the cat litter (every day or every other day scooping). The way this cat litter works allows me to extend the time between scooping as well as extending the time between changing out the cat litter. Two 40lb cat litter bags put into two cat boxes lasts me over 3month with cat litter still in good condition. Biggest reason is how good the clumping is! Pee spots don’t break apart the minute my scoop touches it. Can’t say enough good things about this product.

Needed something with less dust for asthmatic cat,so thought we'd try this. A bit expensive, but seems to be less dusty than what we were using. Clumps well and has a nice small, consistent grain size.
