Excellent Treats
My extra picky senior dog loves these skin and coat treats. I don't know if they have any effect on his skin or coat, but he will eat them right away no problem. These are a small size and are very soft, both good things for him. Most treats have to be broken into pieces for him to eat them, but these are a perfect size for him. Great product!
great for my senior dog
My little Olive is a 16 year old chihuahua mix with a very sensitive stomach, collapsed trachea and lung health issues. I can only give her very soft food that’s easy on her cute little tummy. She loves these treats and she’s been doing so well on them! Plus, we love supporting a veteran!
be aware of gastrointestinal issues
I hate to be a negative reviewer, but just be aware that some dogs may not be able to tolerate the glycerin ingredient used in these treats. There are only a few reviews that mention this but it is worth noting that my dog had diarrhea for a whole day after having one of these treats. It's the only thing I can think of that could have caused this because he was fine after I discontinued giving him these treats.
Moist, easy to cut into small bites
My picky dog likes these treats. I use them for training. They are too large for training treats, so I cut them into four pieces each. The bag I received are not dry, and have stayed moist so far (seven days after opening, and of course the bag reseals). They are a little crumbly in my training vest pocket after cutting them, but they don’t disintegrate.
Best Treat EVER
My choice treat since the 80s. This particular package supports Veterans so I only buy these. 3 month old Puk climbed up onto the washing machine (don't ask me how) to snag the brand new bag and help himself to half of it before I caught him in the act. He is not remorseful.
Upset tummy
My dogs would give 5 stars. They absolutely love them..but when they get them they end up with gurgling guts and liquid pop At first I thought it was something else, but when I got their tummies settled a week later I rewarded them with these treats and the next morning the gurgling gut and liquid pop was back. For anyone concerned, they are 13lb dogs and each had 3-4 of the treats. I LOVE the concept of American vet dogs so don’t stop buying. Just be aware
The VERY BEST
Voted by my dogs to be the BEST treat EVER! After trying MANY MANY treats they decided this one was the best! It’s small enough for their small mouths and it’s easy to chew the moist morsel! And for ME it’s the best because it helps the most important people in America, those that fought for our country and because of their injuries from fighting for us THEIR lives are FOREVER changed as we enjoy our freedom. Do your doggies a favor and get this TREAT for them.
Amazing! Great Value!
These were pleasantly bigger than expected even though the size is clearly listed here, I sometimes don't process until I see the treat in person. Easy to break apart into smaller pieces for smaller dogs. Nice and soft. Both dogs love these!!! And the cost is so affordable for the amount you get! 10/10 one of our new favorite treats!
Neat treat
I bought these treats because my little Yorkie has lost all his teeth. He loves them and all I have to do is crumble them up for him. They were recommended to me by my groomer who dearly loves all the dogs he take care of.
Stinky treats
I loved everything I saw on the bag, I wanted to love these , My dogs absolutely loved these but I'm so surprised no one else is talking about how bad they smell. The smell made me gag everytime I opened the bag. They finished the bag but I definitely won't purchase again for that reason.
