Learn More About Bil-Jac From Our Team of Experts

The Bil-Jac Difference

The folks at Bil-Jac don't rush when it comes to making high-quality food for your dog. No, they believe healthy food takes time. From their carefully selected ingredients to their slow-cooked and gently dried recipes, these animal-lovers take their time to create a dog food that puts nutrition first. Bil-Jac looks so different because it is so different—and your dog will feel it, too.

Small Batches, Cooked Slowly and Gently

Bil-Jac builds their recipes on high-quality, fresh ingredients – like the 25 pounds of fresh chicken they use to make a 30 pound bag of Bil-Jac Adult Select. Their unique Nutri-Lock cooking method is like no other and allows them to use so much more fresh chicken, without using high-temperatures and high pressure. Instead they craft meals like you would in your own kitchen, for outstanding nutrition and mouth-watering taste.

From the Bowl to the Yard

Not only will your dog's taste buds thank you, but so will his tummy—and so will your lawn. When you feed your pet a quality, nutrient-rich meal, his digestive system will thrive just the way it should. And, when your dog's stomach is happy, so are you.

Take the Bil-Jac Challenge

While you care about how nutritious your dog's food is, he craves another important thing: food he can't wait to eat.. And your pal will love the tail-wagging, delicious taste of fresh chicken in every bite of Bil-Jac. Don't believe us? Try the Two-Bowl Challenge. Place a small amount of your regular kibble in one bowl and Bil-Jac kibble in another - see which bowl your best friend empties first!

The Bil-Jac Tip-To-Tail Guarantee

After 70 years of cooking nutritious meals for dogs, the people at Bil-Jac stand by every bag they make. They don't care about being the biggest manufacturer of pet food—instead, their goal is to provide the absolute best nutrition for dogs and keep tails wagging. They truly believe in their food, and they believe you'll see a difference in how your dog looks and feels after a few weeks eating Bil-Jac.

About Bil-Jac

After returning home from serving in World War II, brothers Bill and Jack Kelly began their mission to create a better pet food in 1947. They developed a completely new way to take large amounts of fresh chicken, cook it slowly, and then vacuum dry it to remove the moisture while keeping its powerful nutritional value. Today, they continue their commitment to nutrition with their ever-growing assortment of foods and treats.

This must taste like the most delicious plate of doggie enchiladas or something given the way my dogs are LOVING it. I was mixing it with their old food and they were picking the BIL -Jac out, eating it, and spitting their old food out. I will update in a month, but my elderly crew is digging this food!

We switched from regular to senior and I made 3 enemies; they really hate my decision. They have lost some weight but it is due to NOT eating because they don't like it...none of them do; Mom, Dad, and Son. They just stare at me for hours now. I can't recommend the Senior recipe to you or your pet.

I've had my dog Oscar for 8 years now and I always found his eating habits "strange." He was never excited to eat his food (I've never owned a dog before that has to psych himself up to eat the way this dog does...) so I just assumed he was not a food driven dog. He was eating Rachel Ray Nutrish for the last 8ish years mostly without issue. Well, earlier this year Rachel Ray Nutrish changed their formula (without saying they did!) and he began getting sick when he ate. His poops were never solid and there were days he just refused to eat. He was on a medication at the time this all happened so we assumed his issues were stemming from that until I did additional research. When I discovered they changed their formula I immediately set out to find him a new food. I initially purchased Purina One Vibrant Maturity and he seemed to like it the first 2 weeks (AND HIS POOPS RECOVERED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY!) but then he stopped eating, wasn't excited just refused. So I was back to the drawing board - I remembered purchasing a small bag of the Bil-Jac food when we first brought him home and I recall him liking it so I purchased the blend for senior dogs and OMG I have NEVER seen this dog be so excited to eat! He won't even let me put the dish down before he starts nomming, it's incredible! I am so relieved to have found a food that Oscar loves and the best part? His poops are normal and I don't have to beg him to eat. Highly recommend!

My dogs love this food!

My dogs are somewhat picky, but not with this food. Also brought the frozen food at another time and it also was a hit.

All our dogs love this food

This is a soft crunchy dry food, instead of being rock hard. I have not found a dog who does not like Bil Jac dry dog food. I have given a sample bag to other people

My pups itching reduced

One of my pups was very itchy. It took a couple months and she is doing so much better. I tried several variety's and the senior formula helped her the most.
