We recommend feeding Bil-Jac Sensitive Solutions on a scheduled and controlled basis. Most adult dogs may be fed once daily. However, twice a day feeding may be preferable based on specific needs. Use the feeding chart as a starting point. The proper amount to feed will vary according to the age, environment and activity of your dog. Make feeding adjustments to maintain proper weight and condition. Puppies: Bil-Jac Sensitive Solutions is good for puppies. Most puppies will require twice as much as adult dogs of the same weight. At weaning, feed puppies 3 to 4 times daily until 6 months old; then twice a day until 12 months old. You can best judge your puppys needs by checking weight and conditioning. Reproduction: Bil-Jac Sensitive Solutions is good for reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, often increasing to twice as much as adult dogs of the same weight. Feed twice a day or as needed. Feed the amount needed to maintain ideal body condition. Fresh water should be kept available at all times. For your pets health, see your veterinarian regularly. Store this bag in a cool, dry place.

About Bil-Jac
After returning home from serving in World War II, brothers Bill and Jack Kelly began their mission to create a better pet food in 1947. They developed a completely new way to take large amounts of fresh chicken, cook it slowly, and then vacuum dry it to remove the moisture while keeping its powerful nutritional value. Today, they continue their commitment to nutrition with their ever-growing assortment of foods and treats.

Bil Jac Sensative Solutions
By Johnny on Feb 22, 2021
From a palletability perspective, Bil Jac is the best ever. Rosie had been on PPP Chicken and Rice Puppy and Adult (now 2) all of her life and loved it. With it did come gas and loose stools, but always did. A couple of months ago she developed a skin allergy issue which may not have been food related at all - unknown. Anyway the vet suggested to go away from chicken base to PPP Salmon and Rice which she refused to eat at all! Convinced she would have starved herself before eating - she is a typical Airedale. Talked to the Breeder and he recommend Bil Jac. When it came in, I thought she was literally going to eat through the bag. She loves it and now has a firm normal stool and much less gas From a palletability perspective, Bil Jac is the best ever. It still is chicken based with Whitefish, so if her allergy was food chicken based, still do not know for sure. Talked to the folks at Bil Jac, a family owned company for like 60 years and could not of been more helpful, knowledgeable, and understanding. Actually gives you a number to call that you don't have to spend a day to find a number. Nothing but praise for the Bil Jac Brand and Team. One thing that is obviously different, and maybe not expected, the kibble is small like rabbit pellets size. No issues from Rosie there as well. Loves it and so far it loves her. … more

Dog really likes it
By Kaimom on Feb 4, 2021
I have a 3 year old sheltie, Kai, who is beyond picky. I usually cook chicken for him most days. I got him at 9 weeks old and the breeder told me she fed her dogs nothing but BilJac food line, so this is the only "dog food" Kai will eat. BUT he also will not eat dry food unless it's a last resort. He began having skin issues with patches of hair falling out due to an eczema-type rash. A couple trips to the vet for meds a hair-cut and it healed him up. The condition has started flaring up again and I'm feeding him Sensitive Solutions. It's too soon to tell if it's working for his skin but Kai sure has been gobbling it up. Either way, I am very pleased. … more

My Dogs Won't Touch It
By angi on Feb 24, 2021
My dogs won't eat it at all. Not even a nibble. I've been trying to persuade them for a few weeks now. I use freeze dry bits to encourage eating, but they just pick out the freeze dry & their previous kibble, but leave this food behind. It does look to be good quality, it breaks apart easily enough it will work for tiny to large breeds. But if you have a very picky eater, I don't recommend.

Cody Lives It
By CodysMom on Nov 22, 2020
My dog is a rescue who, apparently, was fed from the table or not at all. His foster mom had a lot of trouble getting him to eat and then he came to me, with the food they tried feeding him. After multiple tries with the food he hated, I spent the first few weeks with him trying out different foods, all of which he either spit out or wouldn’t touch. In desperation, I went to the pet store and explained my situation and was pointed to Bil-Jac. What a lifesaver. My dog took to the food immediately. He will eat it right out of my hand. I will admit that I took one star away because I discovered that they use BHA as a preservative and that’s a questionable ingredient. Awesome product for dogs with chronic diarrhea
By ValOfFrance on Nov 7, 2020
Searched a long time for a dog food my 11y old Airedale would do well on. She has been diagnosed with a autoimmune disease and the meds have been hard on her digestion leading to chronic diarrhea episodes (with blood sometimes). Tried a couple others and they didn’t work. Found a few reviews of owners suggesting this product and gave it a shot. It works!! It is also highly digestible so we feed less and get less poop. So that’s a bonus! Both our dogs are on it now. Highly recommend.

Oddly shaped, but delicious (I think)
By Betsypider on Jan 1, 2021
I haven't tasted it myself, but my dog likes the food - I was surprised by the shape of the kibble, which look a little like rabbit or gerbil food. Anyway, my dog ate it up, so I'm guessing it tastes good!

Great for my doggo with tummy trouble
By DogMomNurse on Oct 17, 2020
I have a rescue pup with digestive issues...personally, convinced she has some kind of IBD that has never been diagnosed. So far all that was working to prevent diarrhea was expensive prescription dog food...I'm scared I'm going to jinx it but I've finally found something for her sensitive tummy that she loves! Fingers crossed it keeps working! Was initially grossed out by the look of it (like rat turds) but hey, it doesn't smell and she likes it. Thanks BilJac!
