Overpriced here can find it at the local hardware store for 35.00 a bag but awesome food. I love there is no corn, wheat or soy but still has healthy grains like barley and rice. All my dogs do great on it. I have 4 Danes and an Irish setter. The nutrition is balanced for Danes and they do great. I do add some fish oil and sometimes Parmesan cheese to entice my one girl to eat it. But healthy food is like that for people lol.
my dogs do not like it they do not like it even sprinkled on their food surprised me, but they will not eat it
I purchased this food after striking out with another dry dog food. So far, so good. My dogs aren't crazy about this food, but they are eating it so that's better than them completely refusing to eat at all. I'll probably keep my eye out for another dry food as I think the taste just isn't what they want so I will keep looking.
First time feeding this food but seems to be a good dog food. All my dogs love it! I will buy again and try different proteins.
Our two dogs love this product, they ate it right away. We like that there isn't corn in this product
So I bought this after having read the ingredients for doggie allergens, specifically my dog's allergies. It worked well for about two weeks, now he's exhibiting the same allergies as he has done to all other dog foods we've tried. So back to the drawing board.
I wanted to try something new for my two large dogs. They like it, but it does give them soft stools, so I add a little rice. I would recommend this food to your dogs, maybe mine are just used to chicken, so I will try their chicken brand next month.
I have 2 dogs. A German Shepherd and a Lab Retriever. I have been using the Black Gold Beef Formula and my dogs LOVE IT! I tried the Beef Meal and Barley and for some reason neither of the dogs will touch it! I tried to give them a little variety but I guess it is back to the old tried and true that they love
Black gold explorer is what I feed all my dogs. It is great for dogs that have sensitive stomachs. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that chewy has it overpriced. I buy from my local animal supply store where they charge around $32 for exactly the same thing. I know it costs extra for shipping, but I doubt they're paying over $20.
Good ingredients 40 pound bag nice to have. Smells good.
