This food made my dog sick. I switched slowly. I switched back to her old food and tried this food again. My dog had issues each time. My dog typically does not have stomach issues or any issues switching food other than she's picky. Won't buy again.
My dog is two years old now and still eating it since she was one year old. She has food allergy/intolerance just about everything. Because of that, she is also a picky eater. Therefore, I first give her the amount less than she usually will eat, then add a bit more each time until she stopped eating. I don't leave unfinished kibbles in the bowl because she will never eat them again. :-( So, I put them in a zip lock bag to keep them as fresh as possible. Then, give them to her when it's time to feed her again or when she asks for food which means she is hungry and will eat them all. Then, add in more when she still want more. So far so good! Give it 4 stars because she is not crazy about it, yet, I can't see she will ever crazy about any commercial dog food. But, she needs the nutrition's in the dog food.
This is the one food I found that contains no chicken products. My yorkie has skin issues and chicken just irritates the problem!
My picky little Fur baby actually gobbled this up the first time I gave it to him. Have been thru a half dozen prior dry foods which he turned up his nose to so I’m happy we finally have a winner. He suffers from skin allergies that seem to be improving also so I attribute this the limited ingredients and grain free recipe
Our female dog seems to have a sensitive stomach. We finally decided to try a food that dealt with that issue. After some research into the topic we decided on Blue Buffalo Basics. We are still in the process of transitioning from our previous dry food to Basics. So far so good. Both the female and her brother seem to like its taste, in that they are eating it without hesitation.
This food is great for my English Bulldog. I have tried different brands, this is the only food that goes well with his digestive system.
My Dog have Skin and Tummy Issues ..so far he seems happy since he's devoured the food and lick the plate. For me is to soon to add more information in re: dog food; cause is been only 2 weeks I purchased the doggie food...
I know this isn’t Chewy’s fault but the bag of Blue Buffalo Lamb and Potato I received was literally filled with just the lifesource bites and not the normal kibble. I had to read the bag three times to make sure I bought the right bag for dogs. And it was for adult dogs but very disappointed I received a defective bag of kibble and now I have to go out and buy another bag because of this.
Great products and great and quick customer service.
Great food, great service, great shipping, great price...Chewy is all I recommend.I have never had a bad experience in all my years and I am quite picky.
