It’s a little early to tell yet, but so far so good. I was feeding my dog Blue Buffalo, Lamb and Potato. He has acquired an allergy to something over the summer. I changed to Salmon and potato at my vets request. She claims the lamb could have been the cause. He has stopped most of the scratching this week. I also gave him Zyrtec and Pawfy Skin and Coat. All I do know for sure is that one or all helped!
When I 1st fed my dog with Blue Buffalo Basics Skin & StomachCare, he wasn't digesting it. He would throw it up a few hours after eating. I took him off of it for a few days then started it back in very small portions. He now loves it and seems to be doing some better with the itching problem.
My pit has allergies, which makes his skin patchy and itchy. Since eating this food with three pumps of fish oil, his allergies are gone and he does not scratch any more. He seems to like this food and has no problem eating it.
I have one dog that'll eat anything. One that dog that'll look in the other pot to see if she's eating. Then we'll eat and the third dog stands there till the first one is almost finished, then moves in on her bowl, then the second dog's bowl but won't touch his. Now he touches his on bowl
My dog did well on this food at first. He has a lot of skin allergies that I suspect are from chicken. Unfortunately, my 5 year old lab mix started to just stink! Like, we couldn’t even sit next to him. The food is stinky, but this stink was emanating from every poor in his body. He’s never smelled bad the entire time we’ve had him! Within a week of switching foods, he’s smelling good again, and he hasn’t even had a bath! So weird. I’m so bummed because the food he’s eating now is 2x the price!
I've fed Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach for years. This time Chewy couldn't ship it with my order, so we tried this one instead. It's been surprisingly great! Rocket eats it with enthusiasm, it smells like salmon food ought to, and it's resulted in smaller, firmer stool. We'll be ordering this one again.
Its only been about 2 two weeks. Because of Chocolate severe allergies, its very hard for me to find the right food for him. I read numerous reviews with good rating those pet parents said this brand help their babies with allergies. So I am hoping the (Blue Buffalo Basics) helps my baby skin too. Turns out if it helps Chocolate like it as help others (Blue Buffalo Basics) will be the only food for my Chocolate. Thank You,
