Smaller pellets, fresh, easy to soak , easy to chew-could even give as treats.

These are great. My horses like them. I soak them and add to their meals, but I am planning to use them as treats for groundwork/positive reinforcement training

These are great. My horses like them. I soak them and add to their meals, but I am planning to use them as treats for groundwork/positive reinforcement training as they are softer and do not have to be soaked.

They were a good deal when I paid 16.00 a bag, but won’t buy them again now that the price went to 23.00 per bag. Won’t buy again. Quality is pretty much standard to any other pellet and much smaller so not worth the money.

My horse likes these alfalfa pellets and they seem to be good quality and affordable. HOWEVER, check your product thoroughly. My first bag had a rock in it that I found when scooping out. Rock was rather large. Chewy made this right. I have purchased 3 more bags and found no more foreign objects. Just be cautious

I buy to feed the deer who come each day to dine, along with cracked corn, bird seed and sunflower seeds. I am training them to stay in my back yard instead of crossing the road and getting killed by cars. So far, it is working. It has been a rough winter. Hope the alfalfa will boost the next generation, too.
