Messy but the dogs loved them
My dogs loved these. The only complaint I have about them is that out bigger dog was able to splinter the hoof into a lot of little pieces which worried me about getting into her system. But so far so good. I ordered the larger pack of these and I will let them finish them but I think because of the splintering off when she chews on them, that I will not buy them again and just stick to the white bones with the filling in them that don't splinter.
Plug your nose!
This is one stinky chew! I’m talking stinks so bad that it’s bothersome. Whatever room it’s being chewed in will smell for almost 2 days after the fact. Smell is kind of like a low quality mall nail salon. My dog did seem to enjoy it, but it’s not something I’d ever consider purchasing again.
Aggresive Chewers Love This!
This hoove is the perfect size for medium to large dogs. My dog is an aggresive chewer and wouldn't put this down. He loved it. I will order it again.
Kept the beasts occupied
Minus 1 star because these do stink (especially by day 3). I will for sure have these on hand for every camping trip. Dogs were occupied for several hours straight, they gnawed on these until their jaws got tired. They are still chewing on them weeks later. My crew ranges in age and size and they all enjoyed these. especially my old Beagle with only a few teeth. I tried to encourage them to eat these outside but they kept bringing them back in.

The only reason I’m bothering to give these two stars is because our pup did like them and they keep her busy. I caution you though because they STINK. We were sure that she soiled herself and bed by the mess made and the putrid smell. Once we cleaned it up and gave her a bath, she continued to chew of the hoof. A little later we smelled the awful soiled smell again. After smelling her and the fact that she smelled fine, the carpet where she was laying with it we took a whiff of the hood. My husband immediately began gagging. As much as our sweet Hazel seemed to enjoy it, it’s not worth our house and pup smelling like a steaming pile of poop!
Ok? Not sure ..... plus SMELLY!
This kept our chewer busy for awhile. She seemed to like it. But the more she chewed it and wetter it got, the smellier it became. It smelled up the room and smelled strongly of formaldehyde. Made us think it is not very healthy for our pets. The ends of the hoove started to break off too. In the trash this treat went. Will not buy again.
Stinky poop
Gave these to my 3 dogs (2puppies) for Xmas all day we thought one of the puppies pooped somewhere had us searching couldn't find anything. Now a day later the puppies are eating them all day and the smell is horrible still can't find the poop. Then our pup jumps on my lap and I almost threw up they smell horrible!!! But they love them so choose wisely when ordering this!
STINKY!!!!
The dogs loved them. Our lab mix crumbled the hoof after eating the filling. Not sure if this is common with hooves, as it was our first time letting our guys have them. I will NOT buy again because they STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN. The Red Barn filled bones have been our go-to and it will stay that way.
They stink - but Pluto LOVES it!
These these reek! However, my boy LOVES them. Once he’s got the goodies out I have filled it back up with peanut butter a time or two and he’s STILL gnawing on it. I intend to purchase several more!
STRONG SMELL
My dog loved this but I had to throw it away because it smelled that horrid. Pretty much smells like poop. It stunk the whole house up and I had to give her a bath afterward. It did keep her busy for awhile and she enjoyed it.
