The instruction manual says 3 hours charge time for 3 hours work time. Flashing red light while charging turns solid green when fully charged. This uses the USB micro type plug.

My dog, Biscuit, was terrified of nail trims with traditional clippers. Both the trainers and groomers I worked with all thought that trying a grinder would be a lost cause because they assumed the noise and sensation would upset him just as much. I haven’t tried any other grinders, but I can say that this one has worked brilliantly for him. It’s quiet, yet powerful enough to do the job. I definitely recommend it to anyone who’s had bad experiences using nail clippers. I only wish I hadn’t listened to them and tried a grinder sooner. I took off one star because there is no option to turn off the light. Sometimes, I need to use it at an angle where the light is shining directly in my eyes, which is annoying.

I sadly haven’t been able to find anyone capable of trimming my dog’s nails. She’s 62 lbs and very strong especially when the clippers come out. Plus her nails are black, and have been cut too far a couple times, traumatizing her even more. This grinder has changed everything. Now we can do her nails in the comfort of home and give her lots of peanut butter as we do it! She approves this message!

Great for my dogs!

This works on small white nails and larger black nails. The lights on two sides help measure and see where the quick is so you’re going to feel more confident working

It is one of the better ones I've used love the 6 different speeds and for my 4 month old rottweiler pup the super quiet motor helps tremendously when training him
