Bought this for a large (almost 80 lbs)dog to cut down on pulling when walking. He stopped pulling the first day. I need to make it smaller but It doesn’t let me. I like the fact it has a locking mechanism so the collar won’t come apart and he can walk out of it.

Wanted a collar to help with my Gingers' pulling and tugging on walks. She's now 14 my months and this was purchased months ago. It was worn for about six weeks then it broke. My husband tried to fix the links and he did for a bit. But it became unstable after about two weeks use three times a day (back then during her potty training). We needed it to be "somewhat snug, but not to the point that it was hurting her. I wasn't crazy about this collar overall to be honest. It had kind of strong, like spikes and their are supposed to keep your very energetic dog close if they pull too hard. It's not Chewy's fault. I just didn't care for the collar overall. And, well, she is strong and it broke. But thankfully at home when we walked on the house. I know I wouldn't like that around my neck. We now have a pretty collar with her ID tag and use a body collar with leash and she's much happier and it's quite sturdy for her strong, energetic ways lol. Plus, she is chipped, which I recommend.

When I first moved in with my boyfriend,my daughter and I want to walk all the dogs. My 2 and his dog. She's a pit. She about pulled me on my face. With this collar, she's in control. If she pulls, she gets pinched. She knows. We are now able to walk her with ease. She like walking a little dog now.

That it can be locked.

Copper can be reactive and sometimes bolts. Lately, it has happened that the links have actually come apart. Fortunately it has happened when we were inside.

Durability

Easy on and off with push button release. Easy to adjust size by removing a link or two. I use this collar when walking Sassy. She is rambunctious.

Ease of opening and closing the buckle.

It was too tight for my dog. It is being donated to a charitable dog agency. A longer one will be ordered. Dog in advertised photo looked to be same size as my

The prongs had a coating on them and the collar snaps

It is a great product. It does help with the pulling and it is strong for my puller!

While nice in theory, this collar did not even remotely prevent pulling. It’s rather important that you can do a quick correction for the dog. However, it just applies even pressure and no pinch. It’s much likelier, in my opinion, to cause respiratory distress from pressure on her windpipe and throat. My dog quit pulling but only because she was in distress and having trouble breathing
