Description

Veterinarian-recommended and award-winning, Boxiecat Scent-free Cat Litter is made from 100% all-natural clumping clay that stays ultra-clean even after weeks of scooping. Hard flat-top clumps form instantly on the top of the litter box, rather than soaking to the bottom, making them easy to scoop. Because Boxiecat’s clumps don’t break or crumble, it’s easier to keep kitty’s litter box cleaner, better smelling, and more inviting–it’s like a new bag after every scoop. Proudly made in the USA, this ultra-low dust litter is ideal for households with allergy sufferers.

Key Benefits
  • Award-winning and vet-recommended premium litter is made from 100% all-natural clumping clay.
  • Instantly forms a flat-top clump for easy scooping that makes clean-up a breeze; perfect for single or multi-cat homes and all box types.
  • An advanced dust suppression process makes this litter over 99.9% dust-free; ideal for allergy sufferers.
  • Eliminates ammonia odors; vet recommended and hypoallergenic, this scent-free formula is truly odorless and contains no fragrances, additives, dyes or fillers.
  • Proudly made in the USA; one 16-pound bag lasts one cat about one month and one 28-pound bag lasts two cats about one month.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

    Breaking up with Boxiecat

    By M1cr0Mel on Jan 30, 2021

I'm breaking up with Boxiecat (no pun intended). I just can't anymore after 2 years and different Boxie formulas. Clumps break up quickly, especially during winter and I'm talking breaking up into coffee cake CRUMBLES. So that means little pea size crumbs start to ruin a newly-poured box within the first week (instructions say change the entire box every 4 weeks). And the dust? Don't get me started. Yes, I'm aware this type of litter always has some amount of dust. But for the premium price and the company claims I expect way less. I find a noticeable layer in the enclosed litter box way too often. What's going into my cat's nose then? When I would tell people who used to come over pre-pandemic I have a cat, they didn't believe me. And I have no choice but to keep the enclosed litter box nearby the dining room! The odor control is outstanding, so Boxiecat nailed it on that. But everything else wrong drives me nuts...so I have to say goodbye. … more

    Literally the worst litter

By Twomainecoon on Feb 10, 2021

This is dust free which is very important to me and my cats really like clay litter so I’m trying to find a good one for them. This one is very disappointing because on day 3 it already has a bad odor and I have to change the litter boxes again. It does not clump well. I scoop up the clump and many small pieces crumble and are left behind. I have 3 large litter boxes and I need unscented dust free litter that the cats like and I really wish there were some better litter options available.

A Good Product but a bit pricey

By Catagan on Jan 30, 2021

This litter has little, if any dust. The cats track the same amount of litter particles outside the box but because the litter consists of very small particles, it falls from their paws quickly and does not track as far as larger particles. Smaller particles also mean less to clean up.. Seems to clump as advertised provided you replenish the box regularly as instructed to maintain the 3 inch depth. Appears to be an excellent product - you get what you pay for - as usual. I will purchase again.

Easy to scoop but dusty & it tracks white paw prints

By SueC on Jan 19, 2021

Recommended by a friend, I was so hopeful this litter would make scooping our 4 cats’ five litter boxes easier. Well, it is very easy to scoop; however, since the urine balls sit closer to the top, the cats tend to track urine-soaked litter paw prints as they walk away from the box. Moreover, this litter is very dusty. Rather than having to carry this heavy bag to my local shelter, I’m combining it with the Dr.Elsey’s litter I’ve been using to see if, when used together, I can have the desired effects of easier scooping, less dust, and less tracking.

Boxiecat unscented natural clumping clay cat litter.

By Joanne on Feb 4, 2021

I love this litter! I bought it cause I have an Exotic Shorthair Cat who is prone to upper respiratory problems. I use to use Dr. Easley Litter but like this litter much better. I don’t notice any dust and I like the texture.

Definitely less dust, but more tracking

By CatLady on Nov 25, 2020

We have too many cats, so we are constantly searching for the perfect litter. On the positive side, this litter is definitely less dusty. We were previously using another clumping clay litter and when you scoop you just see this puff of dust. That doesn't happen with Boxiecat, and I do notice less headaches/congestion because I'm sensitive to dust. The cats also seem to really like the litter - instead of mixing 1/2 old, 1/2 new, I just switched a few of the boxes to Boxiecat, and those are the only boxes that get used now. Now the cons - this stuff tracks like crazy. It is literally everywhere in my house. So, less dust, but now litter particles everywhere. It's annoying. I am trying the scented stuff next, but the tracking will probably make me continue to search for a better litter. … more

    Best cat litter

By jchristineb on Jan 8, 2021

I love this cat litter because it has no dust and my cats love it. I tried some of the alternate litters to clay-based and my cats could not get used to the feel. This litter scoops easily and forms solid urine balls immediately. There is no smell and I have two cats.

    Chewy Shipments

By Shirley on Nov 28, 2020

I am completely satisfied with my selection available sizes and pricing. I’m really perplexed by the shoddy packing and weight of each box. Every package is a challenge to lift and has bulging or broken seams. This should be corrected.

    Little Tracking

By Glen on Dec 3, 2020

I have tried many litters and they all either track debri all around the room or they do not last. The Boxiecat littler has minimal tracking and lasts much longer.

    Sticky litter issues

By Terry on Aug 19, 2020

I have 2 cats with toe infections. Got Boxie for its firm clumping. Yet, numerous times my cat would step in the urine ball leaving glue like paste between toes and foot pad. Defeated Keeping feet clean. A painful mess. I prefer natural litter but needed a litter that is inert. I Bought Naturally Fresh quick clump. It’s wonderful. The clumps aren’t rock hard but easy to scoop. If my cats step in it the litter it doesn’t cause a problem. It’s healthier, less dust and eco friendly. FYI, I put a stainless full choice pan like u see in a cafeteria. I place that pan inside the large FRISCO high sided plastic litter box. The Frisco outer box catches some of the litter scatter.
