What size treats do you put in this? Can you recommend?

My basset puppy has too much trouble getting the food out of this adorable pumpkin. I used her regular food. Unfortunately, despite her moving it in an effective manner ( rolling it over and over on its side.) The food just doesn't come out. It is pretty thick and durable. I am not sure I can make the hole bigger. I have plugged the hole and filled with pumpkin puree. Then left the lid off. Then she eats the pumpkin out of it.

Cute pumpkin made of a hard rubber. My little guy rolled it around to get the treats but he couldn’t throw it around himself. It looks just like the ad photo but not suitable for a small 20lb dog. This would be ideal for large dogs

Fun for a dog who needs distractions and movement

Delta, a beagle, was happy to roll the pumpkin around and chase it. The other dog just picked it up and carried it off to be a brat, but they enjoy it every time

Great fun for my pup and fun for me to watch

I was laughing so much watching my German Shepherd with this toy! I put some kibble mixed with some treats in it and set it on the floor in front of her. She's used to her chew toy with the holes on the ends that she has to chew on to get the treats, so she wasn't sure what to do with this one. I rolled it on the floor and showed her that the treats fall out of the hole. So she started walking around the living room tossing the toy in front of her, so when it hit the floor and rolled, she would run around to collect the treats. After it was empty, she kept tossing it and then watching it roll waiting for the treats to fall out. It was so adorable! She doesn't really chew on it, since she knows she has to roll it to get treats, but I can tell by the material that she would not destroy this toy even if she did chew on it. The toy is very well made, and the top turns to lock in place. It doesn't unlock when she is pawing it or bouncing it on the floor. I also like that it has one hole, so the treats aren't constantly falling out. It has a pretty large compartment on the inside - I would never fill it up, unless it was kibble, as that would be too many treats. That said, sometimes she doesn't want to finish her dog food unless I add some treats to her dish. So instead, I took the rest of her kibble and put it in this treat ball. She finished all of her kibble by tossing the toy. It is a large toy, but it does fit in her mouth so she can walk around holding it.

This Pumpkin treat dispenser is super cute and festive. I love getting my pets special seasonal and holiday items. This Brightkins Pumpkin is very durable. The lid twists to remove and is very easy to take on and off. It stays on securely. It's also easy to clean. My dog is not a chewer but she does slobber a little pushing the pumpkin around to get the treats out. It got a little dirty and I used a wet washcloth to clean it up nicely. We put cat food in it because it's rare she gets any and she was exciting finding it comes out of the pumpkin! Our dog is a Great Pyrenees mix and always curious. She understood right away that the pumpkin has tasty treats inside and to get it out she needs to push it with her nose or paw. She seems to really enjoy pushing the pumpkin around and it is good stimulation.

Great treat toy! Very durable and I like that any shape of treat can fit through the opening and the hole is big enough to allow them to fall out when my pup rolls it around. Easy to clean, too. Our 14 lb smarty pants poodle mix really enjoys the stimulation of her pumpkin treat ball.

It took a few minutes for them to catch on that treats fall out when they roll it but once they figured that out, they were having so much fun!! The boys first worked it but Addy stole it from them and was having a great time. It's solid and but they can carry it as well as roll it.
